Other Thoughts: * Kingston has been good to me over the years, never once had a bad stick.
* With memory getting ever more complicated I always recommend checking the compatible memory section of your motherboard manual when purchasing.

Pros: Stays very cool. Installed without any issues in my wife's ECS A960M-M2 AM3+ AMD 760G MicroATX motherboard. Actually running it at 1680MHz at 1.6 volts (9-11-9-24-1T) with an AthlonIIx4 640 Propus CPU. Not on ECS approved list for the above mentioned motherboard, but still not a problem.

Cons: Not actually a con, but has very large heatsinks. Not sure if I'll ever need that much heatsink as I don't plan on pushing it that hard. This is in my wife's computer, so stability, not high clock speed is all that matters. The heatsinks stick up in front of the intake fan (just a tiny bit) on the Xigmatek Loki 92mm heatsink. Doesn't affect the airflow or temps of the CPU as they are about 1/2 an inch in front of the fan. The intake air rushing past actually helps to keep the already cool RAM even cooler. Pretty much no chance of ever overheating.

Other Thoughts: Haven't tried it yet, but with the huge heatsinks on this RAM, I think you could push this memory to beyond 1866MHz (will do 1866MHz as shown by a previous reviewer), but at 1680MHz it's just plain solid and fast enough for my wife. Running 210 FSB, so that's why it's at 1680 (must overclock something :) ). Gives a 7.3 WEI score in Windows 7 with the above mentioned processor. Great RAM, especially considering I paid less than twenty dollars for 8 gigs.

Pros: Stays cool and runs fast

Cons: Latency Timing on this memory per Kingston's website: 9-10-9-27 But default is 9-9-9-27 whats up with that?

Nothing to do with kingston but..... On the ASUS website they have list of ram supported by your mobo. This ram wasn't on it but yet it still works

Pros: Powerful heatsinks, very fast ram, might be even faster if overclocked.

Cons: Unnecessarily powerful heatsinks, does not even get warm to the touch. But I am not overclocking the ram. Brushes against the fan on the CM Hyper 2121+ heatsink in bay 1, but still fits.

Pros: Very fast and the heatsinks on these things are massive!

Cons: Not so much a con as just a new build quirk, it wasn't seen as 1600 by my new Gigabyte MB right away. Simple solution, just go in and select Profile1 and all your troubles will be magically whisked away!

Other Thoughts: Not all boards recognize ram at their rated speed til you do a tweek...even brand new boards that SHOULD be seeing it correctly don't always see it as such. Not the ram maker's fault, it's the MB maker's fault.

Pros: Worked like a charm!! Fast!!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I am looking into upgrading my CPU cooler and this ram is tall! I hear of issues with the heat spreaders not allowing after market CPU coolers to be installed..

Pros: -Awesome heatsink (thick aluminum)
-Bios read spd so i didnt have to adjust anything
-Decent OC (running 1866mhz 9-10-9-24-1t)
-Cheaper than ripjaws x 8gb 1600mhz, but with better heatsink and oc capability

Cons: -OC not as high as I expected

Other Thoughts: Bought this ram on sale for $44.99. Today when it arrived and I removed it from its packaging I was amazed with the quality of the aluminum heatsink. did not feel the slightest bit of heat on the fins after running prime95 blend OC'd. I really recommend this ram esp if you are debating between these and gskill's ripjaws x

Pros: Look great, and run cold and fast.

Cons: My GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 detect only 1333 Mhz.

Pros: Still running solid after one month!

Very fast and reliable as you would expect from kingston.
Runs standard at 1333 as do all the other brands you just have to set it to 1600 in the bios.

Very fast no issues memtest passed and 7.8 windows scoring test.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If you're using the NOCTUA cooler you will have issues if you run 4 sticks!

I had to take the shields off 2 sticks for it to work properly.

This is very tall ram!

Pros: this ram is fast and the blue fins keep it very cool

Cons: the blue fins on the ram are really tall (2 - 2.5 in ) almost didn't have room under my cooler.

Other Thoughts: shipping from new egg was fast like always
