Kingston's HyperX Plug-and-Play (PnP) is designed to improve the performance of your Sandy Bridge notebook or DIY system. Increase speed without changing system settings — PnP is preset for maximum speeds and easy to install. It's compatible with Generation 2 Core i5 and i7 and also with the latest Intel Sandy Bridge P67 and Z68 chipset. Plus it's backwards compatible without the plug-and-play functionality.

8GB Dual Channel Desktop Kit These high performance memory modules have been tested to run at JEDEC DDR3-1600 at a low latency timing of 9-9-9 at 1.5V. Additional timing parameters are shown in the PnP Timing Parameters section.
Faster Just Got Easier Kingston's HyperX PnP memory is programmed with faster frequencies and when 'plugged' into a system using the Sandy Bridge chipset, will automatically 'play' at rated speed in both desktop and notebook PCs - no further BIOS settings required. (Note: PnP implementation is only possible in configurations that include a BIOS that supports the PnP function. Your maximum speed will be determined by your BIOS.)

Cons: I had to go into the startup bios to change the voltage so it'd run at 1600 instead of 1333. Easiest thing in the world. Other Thoughts: Not much else to share. I installed 4 of these modules 4x4Gb in my Dell XPS 8500 and I definitely noticed a boost in performance. Stock it had 2x4Gb for a total of 8Gb of ram. The stock ram had a fairly slow latency (11 CAS) The kingston ram has a CAS of 9 and runs at the same voltage as stock (1.5V) My Ram score on WEI went from a 7.7 to a 7.9 after the upgrade. My computer is much more vital and snappier than when it was stock. Kingston is a quality product, and I will definitely be using them for future upgrades Cons: Slightly more expensive than other ram, but you get what you pay for.
