5 out of 5 eggsSweet Memory

Pros: Great price on sale, behaves wonderfully with a quad APU build. Looks good inside the case too.

Cons: Nada - it's from Kingston.

Other Thoughts: 8GB of DDR3 1600 for only $30 AND free shipping, what a bargain!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Sleek.
Immediately recognized in Bios.
Runs at specified clock speeds.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bios read 1333Mhz at first, but a quick setting change fixed that with no issues to stability. Runs at 1600Mhz just fine. Red Heatsink looks very nice as well. Hefty feel, does not feel cheap in any way.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding performance

Pros: Can't beat the performance these babies put out for that $30 price tag. I paid $70 at fr-'s for identical HyperX Blu (not the red limited edition). But they are really identical in chips and performance rating. The only difference is that they are painted red. In fact, my performance rating went up a whole whoppin' 0.1 ha ha! And they never had overheated on me ever, probably because they run at a good low voltage. I doubt overheating is really going to be a critical problem with DDR3's anyways.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM so Far

Pros: Sexxxxyyy RAM! Very shiny and bright red. Good for OC'ing from what I've read but I have yet to try it since my board won't allow it. Dramatic improvement in speed from 4 GB also.

Cons: None at all so far. Perfect install. Perfect boot. Super fast desktop load up.

Other Thoughts: And then for only $40.00 shipped?! Can't beat it Newegg keep it up!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: My computer doesn't get a low performace from my Norton.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: It's cost effective, and just what I needed. I love the extra memory for games, applications, and new operating system like windows 8 that is on its way. I like more ram on everything I buy too!

3 out of 5 eggsExcellent value RAM

Pros: -Price
-Performance
-Looks

Cons: There isn't really anything I can say in terms of cons.
The only issue that I had with this ram is the fact that it is not compatible with my ASUS M5A97 motherboard. Any time I try to use dual channel, I get the long beep and two short beeps from the system speaker, indicating no ram is detected. After calling ASUS tech support, they cleared this up for me. Currently, I am only running 4gb of ram which is no problem but a little dissapointing as I have paid for 8GB.

Soon enough I will upgrading to Kingstons 16GB quad channel kit because I do a bit of RAM intensive video editing.

Other Thoughts: Current system

AMD Phenom X4 II BE @ 3.9GHZ
Cooler master hyper 212 EVO
ASUS M5A97 R2.0
2 Kingston Hyper X 3X 120GB SSD in RAID 0
ANTEC TP 750W PSU
Radeon HD 6770
4GB of Kingston Hyper X ram at 1600 (wish it could be 8gbs)
