5 out of 5 eggsLooks good and worked with my QVL

Pros: Looks cool, works cool. I run mine at 1600. Very stable and benchmarks well. I'd buy another to go to 32 gb. but the current offer price is too high. Overall, a very stable and performance memory.

Cons: the SPD stocks at 1333 speeds. Hopefully they used a slightly better components to keep steady performance at the listed 1600 speeds. XMP does have 1600 timings.

Other Thoughts: I use this on an Asus Z87 Pro.
I got this fine memory at a much lower price on sale. Wait for sales, or don't. hehe

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Stuff

Pros: Runs great! No problems whatsoever since I installed them. I'm running 32 GB of RAM (bought 2 sets) and my board loves them. My system is running much smoother than with GEIL or the OCZ RAM I had previously. Very good build quality

Cons: The heat sinks are a bit meager but I haven't has any issues with them yet.

Other Thoughts: A bit pricey but for me it was worth every penny. I'm a designer and having 32 GB of stable RAM is great when you're running 64 bit programs like Adobe CS.

If you're a designer and are sick of laggy photoshop and illustrator like I was this is a great solution.

4 out of 5 eggsDetected wrong speed

Pros: Lowe profile fits with my low profile cpu heat sink.

Cons: My Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+ motherboard detected this memory as 1333MHz. I had to set it to 1600MHz manually. It seems to work at 1600MHz though.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic

Pros: This was the cheapest i could find with a heat spreader at the time, and i am very happy with it. There is nothing special about it, its standard DDR3 1600 ram, with a descent ability to overclock if you know what you are doing. The whole having 16 gigs thing takes a bit to set in, but wow. When i open my task manager to see how things are doing, the sight at how low the ram bar is can be striking to someone upgrading from 4 gigs.

Cons: This ram is really picky when you go and try to get a few more Hz out of it. I was expecting that, being as high density and only rated at 1600. Nothing i didn't expect.

Other Thoughts: This is some very solid ram fr someone building a gaming computer that is great at other things. The ram space is fantastic and very snappy. This ram coupled with my I7 3770K, i haven't tried to overclock much, i did however have to go in to the bios and set it to be 1600, it started at 1333. I have yet to build a system that just knows what speed the memory is in side of it.
