4 out of 5 eggsGREAT RAM

Pros: It works like it's supposed to. I gave four eggs because it is doing what it's supposed to and I can't ask for more than that.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using on a ASUS Sabertooth 990fx 2.0 and an AMD six core processor.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid, reliable memory

Pros: Easy installation. My mobo clocked it at 1600Mhz at the on XMP Profile 1 with no additional tweaking needed. Very stable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've been buying Kingston memory for a decade now and I have never been disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth It

Pros: -Recognized right away by MoBo
-Cheap price for 16gb (2x8gb) *Got mine on sale for $80*

Cons: -Little pricey @ $103

Other Thoughts: Running on
-MSI Z77A-G41 LGA 1155 Intel z77 MoBo
-Intel Core i7 3770 ivy 1155 3.4Ghz (3.9 OC)
-Kingston HyperX Black 16Gb (2x8GB)
-Xion AXP 700W PSU

If your looking for a lot of memory that is reliable and is fast, Kingston HyperX is where to go. I originally wanted G. Skill 4x8GB, realized that it had a rating of 4 eggs, and compared it to other kinds and I decided to go with Kingston HyperX rated 5/5, so I knew it was worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsHyperx Black

Pros: Got it on sale for $70 which is a steal 16gb ram with this speed. Runs through games with web browsers, music, steam, skype and can handle much, much more.

Cons: Didn't come set to 1600 but that's more of a motherboard issue and is easy to correct with a few clicks.

Other Thoughts: Over it's ram, I would recommend this ram but it is a bit pricey.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent choice for RAM

Pros: Style and color prefectly compliments my GA-990FX motherboard. As for function, access speed is really fast. Performs as expected.

Cons: Current price as of this review seems steep.

Other Thoughts: Initially bought one 16GB set at $51.99 in November, then bought a second set at $69.99 in January to max out my machine to 32GB. Current price tag of $102.99 is steep compared to what I paid for. Reliable memory, shame it has gotten expensive. There are cheaper options out there, but if you can afford this set I recommend you get it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works as advertised. Immediately recognized and set up with rated timings by motherboard. Heatspreaders attractive and slender (not overly large and gaudy like some). Good value with MIR.

Cons: MIR. It's money back, but is almost always a pain to get in and process. We'll see if Kingston does better than their peers in this regard.

Other Thoughts: Used this RAM for an i5-3570 based system, MSI ZH77A-G43 motherboard and SAPPHIRE 100355OCL Radeon HD 7850 2GB video card. Note that 16Gb is the max tha Windows 7 Home Premium is able to address, so this dual-pack was perfect for my new build.

4 out of 5 eggsManual Configuration Required

Pros: Good RAM, seems to perform well, with pretty good timings (better than listed on the store page actually).

Cons: I had to alter the speed manually because the default one when I plugged them in was set to DDR3-1333. According the the HyperX spec sheet there are two possible settings:

JEDEC: DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9 @1.5V
XMP Profile #1: D3-1600 CL10-10-10 @1.5V

my motherboard actually had an XMP Profile 1.3 with settings of DDR3-1600 9-10-10-27 which I used. This seemed to work fine with memtest.

Other Thoughts: For DDR-1600, set the speed to 1600 (800Mhz Bus), then set the timings to 9-10-10-27, and that will probably work, just be ready to bump up the CAS and tRAS to 10 and 28 if there are any problems. As always run memtest86 whenever you buy new ram, to ensure stability. (On a side note, be wary of Ubuntu 12.10's memtest utility, it misreported errors which caused me a lot of confusion... I switched to the one packaged with ArchLinux and had no problems.
