5 out of 5 eggsRevisiting previous feedback

Pros: N/A

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Odds are, for a different Z77/X79 motherboard/CPU combo, these will run at 2400MHz. I've upgraded to a known working 2400MHz, 32GB, G.Skill kit which also seems to max out at *2281MHz on my setup, thus the fifth egg.

*CL9

4 out of 5 eggsLookin' good

Pros: Low profile, unlike nigh every other 2400MHz kit with their stupid, bulky heat sinks. This was the only quad channel kit that I can fit in my system without moving everything around/removing heat spreaders. I really wish the ostentatious heat sink fad would end.

This kit looks fantastic. Albeit aesthetics are not a primary concern, I've to say this kit looks sharp.

Cons: High CL: There are comparable kits with lower latency (9 or 10). Not that big of a deal in most cases, but worth mentioning.

XMP Profile 1 (2400MHz): This will not work on my setup under any circumstances. Profile 2 (2133MHz) works and IS fast, but I splurged and was really hoping for 2400MHz. Not sure if it's my hardware or the RAM, so if it turns out to be the hardware, *these deserve the fifth egg.

Other Thoughts: *Admittedly, I'm new to LGA2011/quad channel kits/overclocking sandy/RAM, so it could be I'm missing something? None of the four stick will run @ 2400MHz independently, even with no overclock). If anyone has any ideas, I'll keep an eye out here.

PSU: 1050w
MoBo: DX79SR (SI and TO, I'd imagine, would perform similarly)
CPU: i7-3820 @ 4.70GHz
RAM: This kit @ 2243MHz <-- Profile 2
GPU:2xGTX590
SSD/OS: 256GB M4 w/ Win7/8(x64)

Thanks, if anyone can help.
