My Asus motherboard easily detected it, set the XMP profile and defaulted the clock to 1600mhz. I didn't have to do anything. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: Kingston doesn't seem to be as trendy or as popular as say GSkill or Corsair when it comes to ram.
