Pros: Cheap, great performance, compatible with mainstream laptops. We sell laptops, and these memories have not failed us when upgrading ram on Alienware 15 and 17, MSI GE, Lenovo Y700 and Asus ROG GL552 and GL752.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Awesome deal if you consider that they come with a free game code.

Pros: -Lower Cas Timings than competing brands
-Easy to Install (Plug and Play - No bios tweeks required)
-Works great on Dell XPS 15 9550
-Looks nice (black pcb)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product if you own a Dell XPS 15 9550. The Installation was simple; you just need a torx screwdriver to remove the under-cover and you just plug in the memory.

Pros: Can get to POST.
Can boot to Windows, Linux.

Cons: Memory based BSODs on Windows.
Cannot install Windows with these sticks due to BSOD during installation, other strange errors caused by memory corruption.

Other Thoughts: Kingston's RAM is typically reliable. I suspect they hit a bad batch from their supplier. FYI, these use SKHynix chips.

Pros: - Looks nice.
- Price was good.
- Was available at the time when I bought my MSI laptop. Not many manufactures where making DDR4 260-pin memory.

Cons: - Once installed my MSI GT72 6QD-019 Skylake would not boot.

Other Thoughts: To be fair it may be something with MSI. I bought memory from a different manufacturer and it would not post when it was installed as well. I was beginning to think I had a defective laptop. I gave G.Skill's recently released DDR4 laptop memory a shot and it worked.

Other Thoughts: Bought to replace base memory in my new Alienware 17 R3 (6700HQ, 980M,Win10 Pro). Install like a breeze and simply work. Just to precise, the BIOS version used is 1.2.3 (December 2 2015).

Pros: None

Cons: Doesn't work in my MSI laptop when two sets of these kits are installed. I had newegg replace one kit and had the same problem again. With both kits installed either the system won't post, or it will post very slowly then lock up shortly after entering windows. Using one kit with the Hynix ram "works" but there are still plenty of issues. I still have one kit left that I need to get replaced and I refunded the other to newegg.

Other Thoughts: I was getting very frustrated with ripping my system completely apart each time to change out and test the ram that sits under the keyboard (which is only accessible by taking everything out of the system first).
