5 out of 5 eggsDoes the job for the right price

Pros: Upgraded EARLY 2006 iMac isight memory with two of these modules. Zero errors when booting/working.

Cons: so far so good

Other Thoughts: I normally work on PCs with XP, so ram above 1GB does not make a lot of difference unless you game. But it seems that OSX is a bit of a memory hog, or at least pretty RAM dependent. This memory may be nothing exotic, but it really increases the performance of the computer.

5 out of 5 eggsAlways a King

Pros: Why would I pay 50% more for "Apple" memory when Kingston has the equivalent quality or (probably) better? Kingston's website lets you find the right memory for Mac or a PC model/rig without issues.

Cons: Zippo.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Perfectly

Pros: 1. Fits my Macbook 2,1 just fine.
2. Was delivered fast.
3. Seamless installation (make sure you have the right philips screwdriver. Take a look under the battery to see what sized screwdriver you'll need).

Cons: 1. None.

Other Thoughts: Should've done this months ago.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal!!!

Pros: 1. It made my 1st generation Macbook 4x's faster
2. This was my first attempt ever at replacing memory in a laptop and it fit perfectly into the memory slots witout any issues

Cons: None as of yet.

Other Thoughts: I love my Mac but this is a much better route than purchasing the memory from Apple at $100 a pop.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst RAM swap, went smoothly

Pros: Quick, easy installation.
Recognized first time.
Worked beautifully.

Cons: Really nothing of substance here. I could probably nitpick about packaging or something but that's really immaterial since the RAM worked great.

Other Thoughts: A coworker has a MacBook and was complaining about how it's so slow and how much she hates it. I asked her a few questions, found out it was newer than mine (I've never had problems with mine being slow and the specs of the computers are very similar) so I took a look at the system information and found out she was running 512mb of RAM (this was the one thing I paid to upgrade when I first got the system - went 2gb). I immediately told her she needed to upgrade that and found this RAM on Newegg with the deal being that I would replace the RAM for her when it came in and she would buy me tea as payment. It showed up Tuesday, she brought the notebook in Wednesday and I swapped it out. Her computer opens programs at least three times as fast now. I was really surprised to find out a MacBook running Tiger was given two sticks of 256.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Very inexpensive and its Kingston which is fantastic Ram. Installed 2 of these in my wifes Macbook and it is like its a brand new computer. Very Stable and applications run so much smoother now. Nice to come home and not have to hear how slow her computer is. If you are on the fence, jump down and buy it now. You wont regret it.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: i like pie
