5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Quality Product. Installation was literally a snap.

Cons: No issues thus far.

Other Thoughts: Installed in PowerBook G4 12" 1.5GHz processor. Installed with Tiger OS ver. 10.4. Recently upgraded to Leopard 10.5.6 with 1 Gig RAM intact, with no issues. Great product.

5 out of 5 eggsYep...

Pros: ...the additional RAM is worth it. This Kingston stick coexists peacefully with the original RAM. Installed in seconds - passed mem tests with flying colors. WAY cheaper than upgrading from the App-L store.

Cons: Absolutely NONE.

Other Thoughts: I should have added more RAM years ago to the old PB G4 1.25ghz. Super-fast shipping from newegg as usual.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo of these upgrades the PowerBook

Pros: These DDR sticks are the correct ones that upgraded my 17" PowerBook G4 to its maximum 2GB capacity. Installation was easy and worked without any snags. To find out what memory is needed, go to the Apple menu and click on About This Mac. Mine currently reads Memory 2 GB DDR SDRAM.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Previously, I had sent back DDR2 sticks because they physically do not fit. This is a bit confusing, because I thought that DDR2 referred to packages of two memory sticks, and almost everything offered for sale is DDR2. A call to Kingston's support got me the correct product information. DDR2 does not refer to a package of two DDR sticks, but an entirely different memory stick altogether.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

Pros: Works perfectly with my 12 inch powerbook 1.33.

Cons: Wish it could have been this cheap when I bought the computer 4 years ago.

Other Thoughts: I read all the reviews and knew this was the one for my mac.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: It just works. Just replace your old ram stick with this one, and that's it.

Cons: A little more expensive than I would have preferred. I still chose newegg for the good customer service.

Other Thoughts: This stick of ram was for a 12" powerbook G4 1.5Ghz. No problems whatsoever. You can really tell the difference provided by the extra ram. We upgraded from 512MB of ram to a total of 1.25gigs of ram

5 out of 5 eggsNo problem

Pros: It works! Easy to install on my powerbook G4 1.33 Ghz. Mac OS X recognizes the extra RAM without problem. The price is relatively cheap also.

Cons: Can't think of any.

2 out of 5 eggsWrong memory

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The memory itself wasn't bad, but the speed and size make it incompatible with most Apple laptops. Originally bought this for a 17' PowerBook but it only supports 1GB, so 512MB were unused. The Kingston site misinformed me that the 17' 1GHz PowerBook could support up to 2GB. Had to return the 1GB stick and get a 512MB.
