2 out of 5 eggsDied after 8 months

Pros: Great while they lasted. Good price, probably the most obvious choice for DDR2 FB ECC memory (not many options there)

Kingstons RMA process was SEAMLESS. Modules died Friday night at 4pm, called them up, talked for 15 minutes, and my replacements were here Monday afternoon. They covered the cost of overnight shipment for me!

Cons: Died in 8 months. Sure they were in a server 24/7.. but still. I expected way more from these modules.

Other Thoughts: We'll see how the replacements fair. Ill keep my spare ram handy..

2 out of 5 eggsIt works, but not Kingston branded

Pros: It works, it posted fine.

Cons: It is Hynix with a Kingston sticker slapped on it. The heatsink says Hynix. Everest pulls it up the specs as Hynix RAM. Newegg swears it is right. It is going back when I get home later this week. I want what I ordered to match the exact same RAM I purchased from them earlier in the year. AND I DON'T WANT HYNIX!!!

5 out of 5 eggsKingston's the BEST!!!

Pros: The thing about Kingston is they make researching compatibility very easy! Simply go to their website, enter your motherboard, and you get a list of all the compatible memory for that motherboard. I bought two of these for my Tyan server motherboard, and they run cool and fast!

Cons: NONE!!!

5 out of 5 eggsNo Problem Memory

Pros: I have bought nearly 100 of these sticks from NewEgg and never a problem. I build custom Supermicro servers for clients and these are the sticks that run in anything (dual rank) and run cooler than most.

Cons: Wish they were 50% cheaper.
