Reads Fast
- Pros: Fast transfer speed. Solid construction.
- Cons: None yet.
- Other Thoughts: Read speed benchmarked at just under 33 Mb/s for read speed and 0.7ms for random access time. I don't have a good application to test write speed, but qualitatively it's a big step up at transferring large files from my HD to the flash drive. I did a quick test and transferred several 170 MB files,,,about 6-7 seconds per file...that's roughtly 25MB/s for writing for a file that size.!
Does the trick!

Compact and fits any USB port.
Strong and doesn't want to fall apart.
Is totally bootable when software is installed. "I used HP's"
Has a place to attach keyring clip or lanyard.
- Cons: Needs a nifty clip for key ring attachment.. I added my own.
- Other Thoughts: I use it for carrying my FF# browser with all my attachments and settings to work so I'm totally comfortable as if I'm at home.
I have every file I would possibly use at home all on my thumbdrive... its amazing how many portable programs are out there now!

- Pros: very fast, I can keep eclipse on the usb and run it from there no problem
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: i wish newegg would offer usps shipping, ups pathetic shipping is late again due to "THE APARTMENT NUMBER IS MISSING OR IS INCORRECT", this is the only some 50th time i use their service.
- Pros: Fast, very fast. I have the 4GB as well and the 8GB is as fast as it is. Sometimes the larger drives are slower but not this one. Twice as fast as my other flash drives. Sturdy construction. Connector is very secure when extended.
- Cons: Would have preferred the light on the end as is pointed down on some usb ports. No big deal.
- Other Thoughts: Higher price is because of the speed. Don't know if they use single cell memory or not. But if you compare the higher end performance flash drives the price is not that bad. The cheap drives are cheap for a reason. I know because I have several and they don't come close to the performance of this drive.
Fast and solid
- Pros: Very fast and quite solid. I have been testing several drives of this size for use as a portable office. I have loaded the drives each with a set of portable applications and a copy of core documents and files from my work computer. This drive is by far the fastest (in real world performance) of any I've tested so far. I also really like the fact that there is no cap to lose.
- Cons: None really
- Other Thoughts: There are many drives available for less, and I have to admit that I was skeptical about whether it would live up to the hype (so many other drives do not). It delivers, and has become my drive of choice for performance oriented applications.
