5 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: Works like a charm, no matter that HP says that model can only go to 2gb.

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: HP said that my max ram could only be 2 gigs, Every RAM provider's site also said the same ... Except for Kingston.

Replaced the RAM and HDD (w/ SSD) best money on an existing laptop that I've ever spent.

5 out of 5 eggsThis Memory work in ThinClient T5730

Pros: This modual works in the HP ThinClient Model# T5730.

HP suggests ONLY using a 1 GIG RAM modual, and one slower than this modual, but also supports a 2 GIG modual, for extra memory space in RAM. (they don't tell you it will)

I have full XP Pro SP3 installed on it, and the HP EWF control of Drive writing, with the Hibernate feature set to Write once, read many, so the system is un-touchable to virus or unwanted drive writes, until I commit the changes.

I can power-down, without OS shuting the system, and when powering back up, automatically re-loads the Hibernation file, within around 20 seconds from power-up to fully functional.

It's freaken wild...!

If you do use the EWF control, you need a 2 GIG modual bacause all drive writes actually go to the RAM instead, until the changes are "commited" using the EWF Configuration.

This Modual handles all with this T5730 very well so far, and I've not had any problems for the full time using it.

(working well several months)

Cons: None! ... and I don't expect any either.

Other Thoughts: If the memory works when you first put it in, it will continue to function without problems, unless, of course, one of the separate memory chips on the modual goes bad.

If that happens, Kingston will replace it for lifetime.

You can't beat that, and it's worth the price NewEgg is selling it for.

Can't beat NewEgg either, fast shipping, nice people to do business with, a real credit to the Internet shopping experience.

More On-Line merchants should take lessons from NewEgg.

One more thing about the T5730, you can also use a larger Flash Drive (DOM) Disk-On-Modual than HP suggests.

I'm using an 8GB DOM without any troubles, because the 512MB DOM originally included as stock isn't large enough to support FULL XP installation.

NewEgg sell it too. The Transcend product. Check it out if you need more space on your T5730.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly What I Needed

Pros: This was the module specified for my HP dv6563cl and it works like a charm.

Cons: UPS - I specified 3-day delivery and UPS delivered it on the fourth day with no explanation.

3 out of 5 eggsNOT desktop memory

Pros: Well I got it

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: The packaging makes it look like desktop memory. I was surprised when I opened it and a laptop memory module fell out. Oh well, guess it's a writeoff now. Guess I can use it in a laptop ...

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: Replaced the RAM (2x 1GB) with this (2x 2GB) in a HP tx2000z tablet PC. No problems, it simply worked. Quick delivery by Newegg.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This particular notebook/tablet recognizes 4 GB of RAM, but MS Vista Premium 32-bit only gets 3 GB of usable memory. The other 1 GB is apparently used for shared video memory (not that much) and hardware mapping (for device drivers). The only upgrade choice at the time of purchase was Vista Ultimate 64-bit for $300 - way too much.
