5 out of 5 eggsWorks great in PowerEdge2950

Pros: Our IT guy got this for me from NewEgg and it works fine in our PowerEdge2950 that is used to do virtualization via MS Hyper-V server. Far cheaper than from DELL, and slightly less than <un-named competitor to new-egg> also (by a little bit and no sales tax) No signs of any reliability issues, and never seen so much as a hickup much less a blue screen, from the server both before and after this was installed nearly a year ago.

It's a 2U rack-mount high server so as you might imagine space is tight but this RAM fit in just fine with no clearence issues of any kind.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: expensive compared to non-'server' quality memory, but that's just the breaks when your system uses fully buffered ECC memory.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I purchased this about two months ago and have it installed in a PowerEdge Server. It works wonderfully with no problems. Definitely cheaper than the manufacturer's ram for the same thing, and have to love anything that comes with a lifetime warranty.

Cons: Absolutely None.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: Good name brand, just works

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Plugged them into Dell M600 blades, they came up and worked as you expect them to. However, I found mine cheaper someplace else, newegg would not match the price - though I prefer newegg for h/w purchases in general, but will always go for the best price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked in Dell 1950 and 2950

Pros: Dropped in and fired up- all modules recognized and seem to be stable. Much cheaper than Dell retail for same modules. Working well for VMWare environment- 24GB in one server (had eight to begin with, added 16G of the kingston) and added 8 apiece to the other two servers.

Cons: Cost- the other model of this memory was not cross listed for the Dell.
