5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff!

Pros: Works as adverstised. My MOBO is a Gigabyte GA P35-DQ6. When I built this machine I ignored the approved memory list and went with Crucial Ballistix instead. Now, about a year later I am replacing that memory with this because the Crucial memory is failing. I've had two sticks go bad.
Anyway, the board sees it at 1066 out of the box, the timings are where they should be, and it is running fine at 1.8v. I just ordered two more sticks to get to 4GB.

Cons: Maybe a little pricey, otherwise none so far.

Other Thoughts: Don't make the same mistake I did when choosing memory to go with a motherboard. Get the approved memory and save yourself some money in the long run.

5 out of 5 eggsFlawless

Pros: Snap it in, close it up, hit the button, bingo like magic.

Cons: There's cheaper but then again not at 1.8v. Most memory needs to be juiced to get to 1066. This is a plug and play.

Other Thoughts: People only have problems when they slap it in just any old nasty plug horse of a Mother Board.

It's fairly simple, look up your Mother Board and at least match the rating..and what do ya know...it workks.

5 out of 5 eggsGood ram and it is 1.8V

Pros: I installed 4 GB on my MB that called for 1.8v. Booted up without any issues. Very fast, don't feel the need to OC this and the MB will only use 1.8v anyway. The memory sticks have no heatsinks put does not need them anyway. 1.8V runs cooler anyway.

Cons: None as of now.

Other Thoughts: Newegg service is the best.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: -BIOS detected as 1066, just like it should.
-runs on 1.8v, so it doesn't need a cooler.

Cons: -Wish it was cheaper
-Only 1gb per stick

Other Thoughts: Gigabyte Easy Tune 6 detected it as 1110 not 1066, but even if that's true its not like I mind it running faster. Gigabyte GA-EP43-DSL3, Q6600, HD4670, Antec 430W, 2gb DDR2 1066

3 out of 5 eggsResearch the board first.... issues

Pros: Runs fine at 1.8V when used in single channel (see note below). No need for thermal-management.

Cons: Not able to run on ASUS M3A32-MVP Deluxe(no-wifi). Kingston pulled the memory from it's approved list due to the fact that if you can't run 2 sticks on the board. One stick works fine, and according to the QVL from ASUS 4 sticks will work fine. But when running dual channel mode I get errors all over the place.

Other Thoughts: When I got the board it was not listed as incompatible. but now it's changed and according to the new vendor list for the board, it's only able to run 1 or 4 sticks not 2.

3 out of 5 eggsThere is better RAM cheaper

Pros: This is the "approved" ram for my board.

Cons: I had to bump up the voltage to stop my system from crashing. It might advertise 1.8 but I have to run it at 2.1 to make it work.

Other Thoughts: If you don't have to have "the right" RAM. Buy something cheaper with a heat spreader. These are the first sticks of this brand name RAM that gave me any problems. I will continue to be a Hyper X Fan Boy.

I am just happy I finally figured out how to save my CMOS to my BIOS. The only reason I bought these is because my CMOS got confused after power failures and lost my RAM settings.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with Asus P5Q

Pros: I only know my computer is running really good with this memory. Crysis has no hangs or freezes at all compared to the "other" memory I used to use.
It only uses 1.8 volts, so it doesn't need a heatsink and should have a long life.

Cons: None that I am aware of.

Other Thoughts: I've used other brands and can honestly say that Kingston is as good as any of them.
