Perfect for my HD Cam
- Pros: Reliable after many instances of filling the card and clearing the card.
Handles my Canon HD Camcorder.
It works.
- Cons: NA
Good Stuff...
- Pros: 32gb in the size of a coin!??! Class 4 speed ran exactly the same speed as class 6 cards in my canon xsi dslr... for writes and bursts.. same access times on my zen mp3 player as a class 6. Difference in speeds when plugged into the card reader on my pc is detectable, but minimal!
- Cons: I'd say price, but i remember when the 32Mb internal drives were hundreds of dollars. So no eggs off...
- Other Thoughts: Sure i coulda gotten 2 of the 16gb ones for 10 bux less after shipping, but this card is awesome thus far.
Good for a cheap SSD, useless for Windows Readyboost
- Pros: Cheap considering its 32 gigs (30 gigs after format) and solid-state. The card is standard SD size, which is very small.
- Cons: Doesn't work for Windows Readyboost, which is what this was originally bought for. Random Access is 1.4 ms according to HDTach, and Readyboost requires 1 ms or quicker. I tried to have windows test the drive for the ability to be used for Readyboost, but no matter how often I tried it, the drive didn't qualify once.
- Other Thoughts: HDTach reports average read speed of 18.3 MB/s and burst read of 19.1 MB/s.
I may use this card for backup or as a test drive. I'm very dissapointed that it won't work with Readyboost.
