3 out of 5 eggsWorked at first...

Pros: While it worked, it was great! was decently fast, and it held data. what else can you ask for from a jump drive?

Cons: Well it feels cheap, and just recently the thing died on me. Wont format, Western Digital Drive Diagnostics gives errors on all scans then it reports to check the drive cable, AND it locks up explorer.exe on my system until i unplug it.

Other Thoughts: It was great while it worked, and I got it from a local store for 20 bucks, but im sad to see it die so early. I plan on sticking with good ole PNY from now on for my jump drive needs.

3 out of 5 eggsNot as good as my 4GB version I had before

Pros: It is very fast, great for using as boot device. 16GB drive of course. Slide in and out plug. Installs Windows 7 in only 10 minutes compared to 30 on DVDs

Cons: Much flimsier feeling compared to my old 4GB to which this is replacing. Doesn't always get read properly. Only cosmetic damage on it but thats it, everything else is fine except that it even works under USB 1.1. This is tested and verified on 6 different computers and even on my Sony TV which I used this to updat the software, took a couple of tries. Reformatting to FAT32, NTFS, and EXT2 didn't help. I don't know where to start to see if this is replaceable.

Other Thoughts: I loved my 4GB version of this, never had recognition problems or fallback to USB 1.1 on its own. After 2 months this started to happen. I had my 4GB edition from Christmas 2006 until September 2008 and it worked perfect. Sadly one day I leave it plugged in and to my suprise, I bump it and the USB end breaks off. The USB end stays in the slot while I'm holding the body. That was my worst nightmare come to life. Good thing I backup up the files to another drive just in case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: 16GB, good brand

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Buy this, you cannot go wrong. This is my 10+ drive. I buy new ones and keep giving away the older ones. The capacity is quite a lot, helps me move large files.

5 out of 5 eggsLots of portable space

Pros: It's compact, it works in every computer I've plugged it into, and it doesn't have a cap that can be lost.

Cons: The hook that can be used to attach it to something like a keychain is tough to get at, and I'm not sure what you could actually use to attach it, other than a length of wire.

Other Thoughts: Only time will tell if the sliding USB plug will hold up, but so far, so good. I haven't had any problems with this drive.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Flash Drive

Pros: Kingston makes good flash drives. Where I work, a lot of people have been using them.

Also, slide out drive. I don't have to worry about a cap getting lost.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This drive is worth the money, luckily it also is not that expensive.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Drive

Pros: No problems with it. Great drive.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: To all the people who are writing bad reviews of these flash drives because they cant copy > 4GB files to it, guess what, fat32 file systems have a 4 GB file size limit!!! This is not the drives fault! Format the drive ntfs or ext2 or ext 3 or whatever and this will not be a problem.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: 16GB jump drive (15GB actual space). That in itself is a pro. I have never had an issue out of transferring files on the go. The casing feels a little flimsy, but it isn't. It's held up against everything I've thrown at it (given that I've been pretty gentle with is, I don't WANT to break it!).

Cons: The locking switch that moves the connector in and out seems to not work the best in the world. From time to time I have to hold the switch in place to insert the drive, but once it's in, it has no problems whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I liked this so much that I got one for me and one for my father. We're both loving them. It's good storage for pretty cheap. I would have liked a lanyard with it, but I can manage without.

4 out of 5 eggsKingston DataTraveler 100 16GB Flash Drive

Pros: Great service from Newegg. The high capacity and standard size makes it a handy storage media and fits any laptop slot.

Cons: The device will not accept a large file transfer like a dvd sized .ISO file. It reports back to windows that the disk has insufficient space available. A 4gig file on a 16gig device this doesn't make sense.

Other Thoughts: None
