The connection cable IS short

Other Thoughts: Since there is constant debating in the reviews about whether the cable is short - here is the fact. The cable installed on the card reader is 1.5 inches, this is idea for travel and being used on a laptop. The extension cable shown in the picture is 1.8 feet - this is absolutely not long enough for a desktop computer when connecting to a USB port on the back panel. Everything is quantized - give me a thumb of helpfulness to help others.

Pros: Great reader. Works as it should.

Cons: NONE.

Other Thoughts: Sliding cover protects the slots when not in use. It comes with an extension cable.
People who do not own one should not review one.

Pros: Separate SD & Micro SD slots is cool. Don't need an adapter. I personally like the short integrated cable. I keep this in a drawer and only take it out when needed and then plug it into the front of the PC. I like not having to search for both the reader and the cable. It comes with an extender cable if you need it.

Cons: The way the cable snaps in place for storage is hokey. More complicated than it needs to be, but it works fine.

Other Thoughts: Had to get this because my old reader couldn't handle SDHC. Shows up in OS as 4 different devices - just like the old reader, so I assume this is typical.

Pros: It's data transfer rates are much faster than I expected. I will never use slow camera hardware to transfer files from a flash card again! It has a pretty compact design with no bulky cables to drag around. It also seems reasonably sturdy. I wouldn't play catch with it, but I certainly don't fear it would get smashed in my briefcase.

Cons: None, really.

Other Thoughts: The cable is rather short, but it's still easily usable and a USB extension cable is provided if the cable does bother you.
