4 out of 5 eggsMy Life

Pros: Works well enough. It is literally my life on the go. Back Up, my most important docs all the time with it. Never fails me in that sense. Read/Write is comparable to any other USB 2.0 flash drive I have had.

Cons: The cap can easily be lost. (I have misplaced it numerous times). I broke the end piece, when I attached it to a key ring, quite irritating. Should be more durable in that sense.

errr yea :)

Cons: had a bit of issue with delivery
read other thoughts

Other Thoughts: usps for some odd reason shipped this thumb drive back to newegg.
i contacted newegg customer service and talked to a very friendly rep. the guy had the first thumb drive RMA'd during its transit home and THAT day sent me another one free of charge via air i was more than impressed.
when i got this drive 2 days later :)
i feel bad newegg had to take up usps slack but they made a bad transaction a good experience :D

2 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: Reasonably fast and hasn't died yet after 2-3 months of heavy usage with school projects.

Cons: -Formatted as FAT32. Can't transfer big files unless it is reformatted as NTFS.
-The cap is easy to lose. Lost mine after 2 weeks...simply fell off.
-Plastic attachment for the keychain is extremely cheap. Mine broke easily after 2 weeks. Now I have to carry it around in my pocket instead...will probably end up losing it.

5 out of 5 eggsvery useful

Pros: I bought this to replace a 16GB OCZ thumb drive that is so slow as to be useless. I measure a read speed for this drive of 20MB/s and write of 2MB/s for a large mix of files. The OCZ was about 100KB/s for writing. The 16GB size is large enough that I can depend upon having space available when I need it (with the occasional file pruning of course).

Cons: none
