Not only did they say that one wasn't, but none of their drives had that capability. Either the listing here for this drive is wrong, or their tech support isn't very good. Jacob W. 10/14/2009 11:12:27 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 2/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 4/5Great performance; lousy design This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler 410 16GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model DT410/16GB Pros: very snappy; even faster than my 8GB SuperTalent; hidden secure partition is a good idea; security program is well behaved and doesn't run when not in use Cons: metal flip-around guard makes it difficult to insert at an angle; blue activity light is not visible except at a certain angle; guard doesn't really protect against dust getting in the connector Other Thoughts: I removed the metal guard with a hex wrench because it was so annoying and I use a cap from another drive to protect the connector. The security program is Windows-only which probably means that the secure partition isn't visible on native Mac or Linux. Also unclear whether the security program will work on 64-bit Vista/Windows 7 (which my next computer will have). But for normal XP machines, it's great! I use it to transport large documents and pictures and I am able to reserve 4M for Readyboost. Swing around metal cover works good.
