5 out of 5 eggsGreat ram

Pros: 4 gigs
low profile
fast
Cheap

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought two sticks, popped them in, powered up..no problems whatsoever. The low profile gives me plenty of clearance for my aftermarket cooler. I would definitely recommend this ram.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable Memory

Pros: 32GB (8 modules) work reliably in ASUS P9X79PRO motherboard at default settings.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The memory not branded by the chip manufacturer as shown in the NewEgg image. It now carries the Kingston brand name on the chips.

1 out of 5 eggsSigh.... Memory Makes My Computer Crash...

Pros: I had this memory before and it was great.

Cons: The memory causes the computer to be very unstable when booting up if I'm lucky to see my bios screen which 90% of the time it doesn't and just gives me a black screen. I took the memory out and bam the computer works but I put the memory in it doesn't work.

1 out of 5 eggsMemory Speed Issue

Pros: RAM ran just fine at 1050Mhz. RAM ran just fine at 800Mhz. At 1333Mhz, all direct-memory tests passed (memtest86, md5sum of file cached in RAM, etc.) Motherboard is GIGABYTE GA-870A-UD3. Running 4x4GB rated at 1333Mhz.

Cons: RAM-Southbridge interface had a timing issue that resulted in infrequent corrupted reads off harddrive under Linux (Fedora15). Specifically, a single bit was corrupted for every 200-500GB read from the disk. The only thing that fixed this bug was slowing down the RAM speed. (Believe me, I tried! Kept tweaking the RAM timings and other settings, but nothing helped!)

Other Thoughts: RAM replaced with alternate brand, rated for 1866Mhz, running it at 1600Mhz (motherboard limitation), with no further bit-flip harddrive-reading corruptions after weeks of testing. It was the RAM!

Did not try to track it down to the individual stick. Too many variables when reconfiguring, and I didn't have a spare stick. Many thanks to Newegg for their kindness and assistance with this issue!

5 out of 5 eggsEasy Peasy

Pros: Always pleased with Kingston.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Purchased to fit under CM GeminII cooler... it's a bit of overkill in that department. Makes sense to shrink the board to match the new-smaller chips.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works at intended.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The card may seem small, but it actually is the same type as other 1333 DDR3 ram cards.
