5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: A good balance of Tech specs vs. Cost.
Also a recognized name in memory (Kingston).
Security: HardwareAES Encryption adds no overhead for host computer.
Not below average but not the best in this market, for the price it's a good balance.

Not bottom, not top in this

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: For most critical applications I go with IronKey "REAL" security, but this Kingston model i smy "daily driver" for moving secured data, of moderate security threats. For the price hardly anything is better, IronKey costs 4x+ more.
Also for memory in general I used to flirt witrh Corsair and now strictly CRUCIAL. CRUCIAL unfortunately didn't have any secured AES USBflashdrive to offer so I took this Kingston.
I used Kingstons many years ago before Corsair/Crucial.

5 out of 5 eggsReliable and Affordable

Pros: +Rugged
+Lightweight
+Security soft works on all computers

Cons: +Don't hybernate your computer with unsaved application data - you will be locked out ;)
+Can't boot from it ;)

Other Thoughts: I've used this drive DAILY for over 6 months. I own the 32GB version and keep all my documents on the flash drive. I alternate between computers throughout the day and run mostly portable apps. The only time I noticed problems with speed is when some poorly designed program was trying to read/write some large number of data files every 20 min.

5 out of 5 eggsGood drive

Pros: Hardware-based encryption protocol, 256-bit AES, extremly fast, good for stoping nosey famliy members who want to pry into your personal life. Drive shuts itself down then reformats itself after maxium ammount of failed passcode attempts.

Cons: Cosumer grade, encryption which means the drives security protocols can be circumvented by someone with the time and knowledge. Outdated encryption sceme, no Anubis Cipher, which trumps the sceme on this drive. No UI to reset maxuim ammount of failed passcode attempts.

Other Thoughts: This is an excellent quality drive, because it's a Kingston drive I prefer Kingston mainly because they've been around for ages and actually have expernice fabricating memory type products mainly computer RAM. I do highly recomend this product not only because it's a Kingston product, but it's good for storing personal day-to-day files that you don't want certain people poking their nose into, and if they attempt to to many times the drive will run a self destruct protocol and erase itself thanks to the hardware based encryption.

5 out of 5 eggsSecure and feels solid

Pros: Fast read/write. Unit feels very solid and the swivel doesn't move out of place on it's own.

Cons: Isn't water proof or milspec. Doesn't work with Linux.

Other Thoughts: Good bang for the buck and since I didn't need mulspec or water proof to keep my customers data secure between computers it's well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsReally awesome drive

Pros: Speed, encryption, ease of use.

Cons: Make sure to always use the program to remove it from the system.

Other Thoughts: Considering the encryption, this usb drive is the fastest I have ever owned.
