Kingston DataTraveler 160 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model DT160/16GB

Pros: Lots of storage for a thumb drive; decent transfer speed; cheap & sturdy until I threw it at a wall.

Great for watching home movies with our video game console.

Cons: Consistently had to reformat the drive when using it with multiple PCs (isn't that the purpose of a flash drive?)

Other Thoughts: Be warned: take extra care when transferring files onto and off of this, don't interrupt anything because the drive will become corrupted and you'll have to reformat.

Pros: Feels pretty sturdy. I love that even if it stops locking, when I slide it open, I can still get it into a USB Port with no problem due to it's design. The Rubber for my thumb makes it even easier.

I am transferring 5GB of stuff to it right now and it's transferring at 7MB/s so it's pretty decent.

Other Thoughts: You can find some 16 GB thumb drives in local stores, but beware of the 1 year, or shorter warranty. Even more important, is that you may never need the warranty with a KIngston thumb drive. Some off brands can offer long warranties, and give you a new drive every year. What good is a product that fails every year, even if they replace it. It is the failure that will be painful when all data is lost. I like the fact that the usb connector is hard fixed top the body, and it is only the cover that slides open. The thumb portion, as well as the body have a rubber-like feel. The chromed plastic is of very high quality and will easily pass for looking like metal.

Pros: It was fast out the box, and it is still fast after a month. It gets consistant 8-7 mb/s on Windows 7 at work. I like the look of it with the blue and silver. The blue being rubber gives it a good feel.

Cons: It feels a tad bit cheap. The blue part is a little heavy that I like. The silver part is plastic which makes it feel cheap. But it is a under $20 16gb thumb drive.

Other Thoughts: I have been quite impressed with it. It is fast at both read and write. I would buy another one if I need a second one.

Pros: Shipped quick,great to save all of your drivers and other setup files, you can set your bios to boot to the flash drive with windows 7 or other O.S., no cap to lose

Pros: This flash drive, after thousands of read write cycles is still going strong, have had many other brands/models of 16gb flash drives, and this has outlasted all of them.

Cons: Size, with the sliding top on it it struggles to fit into many USB ports. Write speeds are nothing spectacular, but you will get the advertised 10mb speeds, read speeds are alright.
