Big, but BIG
Pros: 64 GB storage
Cons: This unit is at least twice the physical size of a standard USB flash drive.
Other Thoughts: I don't like the dual cable design for USB 2.0; already need to carry a double-size flash drive and dont want to lug around mick-e mouse cable too ;-(

Pros: Works great in every computer I plug it into. Even USB 2.0 machines without the Y cable. I just make sure to plug it into the mobo USB ports not the ones on the front of the tower. It's also worked on many laptops with USB 2.0 and no Y cable. At this moment I'm using it on a 7yr old Presario transferring XP SP3 to it, It took 24Sec for 316MB.
Other Thoughts: I plugged this into my HP workstation at work, it has USB 3.0 built in. It ran good then I took it home and tried it in my USB 3.0 4 port hub and it ran 20% faster. So speeds will vary depending on computer hardware.

Pros: Big, fast
Cons: Expensive, large enough to block adjacent USB ports
Other Thoughts: It does work without the Y cable on my USB 2.0 ports, but all of mine are higher output ports designed to handle iphone, ipad, etc. YMMV.

Data Traveler Ultimate 3.0
Pros: High capacity. Probably fast.
Cons: Expensive. Also, buyer beware. This item is advertised as backward compatible with USB 2.0. What they don't tell you is you have to use a two port y-cable if you want to use this device with USB 2.0. You cannot plug this flash drive into a USB 2.0 port without the y-cable because a USB 2.0 port does not have enough power to use it. You need to USB 2.0 ports to power it. So unless you are only working with only USB 3.0 devices, you can't dangle it from your neck expecting to just plug it into to USB2 without having that y-cable in your pocket.
Other Thoughts: Bought it because of the backward compatibility and high speed. Did not expect to have tho use a Y-cable. This fact should be included in the product description so people don't dish out a lot of money only to be bummed out when they receive the product and try to use it.
