Works very well in Dell T7500 with previously installed RAM (12GB 1066 DDR3)
Pros: The Kingston online memory configurator was a life-saver in determining the type of RAM compatible with our Dell T7500 workstation. Previous to this, I had not done my research and ended up getting the wrong type of RAM (non-ECC, non-registered) from a local store and spent many hours debugging the system. The local store was very generous in accepting my return no-questions asked. Our dual-processor system was bought a few years back with 12Gb RAM (6x2Gb modules). Using the online configurator, I was able to match-up the new RAM with the old one: dual rank, registered and ECC. I moved the existing sticks to the riser card and installed the new modules on the motherboard. Plugged everything in and the system works like a charm. The Dell specific modules were actually among the cheapest 24Gb RAM modules available on newegg. Ground shipping from newegg arrived in three days, awesome, indeed. An excellent experience all-through. If the need arises, I will gladly splurge for another 24Gb.
Cons: None to report, very good price and good compatibility with previously installed RAM.
Other Thoughts: The memory is presently clocked at 1066MHz to match the older modules in the system. I did not check the speed without the old memory modules, this would have been something interesting to confirm before plugging in the riser with the old RAM modules.
