5 out of 5 eggsVery Fast!!!

Pros: Very, very, fast! It's like carrying around a tiny first generation SSD drive in my pocket. I've had this thing since 7/12/2011 and even though I had a board with a USB 3.0 port before I never bothered using it. My case sits under my desk and there is no USB 3.0 on the front of it. Well I bit the bullet and bought a 6 ft. USB 3.0 Male to Female extension cable. Figured it was about time I started using this stick to it's full potential. All I can say is wow!!! Don't know why the heck I waited this long to buy a $5 extension cable. I transferred a 10 Gig video file from this little sucker in around a minute. Windows 7 showed the read transfer rate hovering around 122 MBps. I never saw it drop below 120. The write of a 6 GB file was close to the same number. I really wish USB 3.0 ports were as common place as USB 2.0. Now I need to buy a USB 3.0 Expresscard so I can use this thing with my work laptop.

Cons: It's a good bit bulkier than most drives, but hey it's 32 GB and it's USB 3.0. Also, I knew it going in and I'm not knocking an egg off for it, but I really wish I didn't have to mess with a cap.

3 out of 5 eggsNot so Ultimate

Pros: Was really fast when it worked! I even like the color and design.

Cons: Failed yesterday.... originally purchased not from NewEgg, on Oct 6th 2011 so it managed just under 4 months. Good thing Kingston have good warranties, just waiting for an RMA from them.

Other Thoughts: Just a little bit ticked off by it right now, I have a second one, brought from here that is still working just fine. Wondering if I should go back to USB 2.0 drives....... ho hum.

4 out of 5 eggsGood but big !

Pros: A good USB 3 key, which do his job quite well. One of the few which really use USB 3 to provide high transfer rate.

Cons: Well, it's ugly are much more cumbersome than I expected.

Other Thoughts: I had a problem when I plug this key on my computer: my wireless mouse does not work ! I have to plugin it with a wire. But I'm quite sure it's not related to the USB key, but the USB 3 hardware implementation (my motherboard was one of the first to support USB 3).

5 out of 5 eggsvery quick

Pros: Very fast. CrystalDiskMark gives ~90MB/s read and ~64MB/s write speeds. Most "USB3" drives can't give this kind of performance, and cost less. Mine is actually the earlier (slower) version before "G2", so performance should actually be better on the present version.

Cons: I paid $99 each, for three of these about 6 months ago. Waiting drops the price, but I've used them heavily in between so can't complain.

2 out of 5 eggsBad

Pros: Work okay for a while

Cons: USB 3.0 stopped working after a couple of months, then a month or two later it stopped working all together. Its also big so it wont fit in some places,

5 out of 5 eggsWOW, WOW, WOW!!!!

Pros: 32 GB of blazing fast thumb drive goodness!!! Fastest 2.0 drive I've ever owned.

Cons: A little bulky, but hey it's 32GB USB 3.0. A bit on the pricey side, but see previous sentence.

Other Thoughts: I don't have any USB 3.0 ports, but on my home built Win 7 x64 desktop via USB 2.0 this thing matched the specs. Refreshing to see a product live up to specs for a change. I saw speeds around 18-25MB/s with a gig of random sized files and a steady 30MB/s with a 1GB+ video file. I can't wait to get some USB 3.0 ports. Thinking of buying an addon USB 3.0 card for my desktop and one for the work laptop.
