5 out of 5 eggsKingston memory works - as usual !

Pros: As with Kingston products, plug them in, and they work. I used two of these sticks, in order to increase the computer's RAM (from 6 GB to 16 GB) in a late model home-assembled computer that was being changed from XP Pro to Windows 7 64 bit Pro system.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: The three year old motherboard's manual stated that RAM sticks of 1, 2, or 4 GB size could be used. There was no mention (pro or con) of using 8 GB sticks (like these) in this motherboard, so I was a little nervous about trying these. Also, the Kingston PN was the same for these, except the last two digits, which denotes the memory size of the stick. Apparently, Kingston no longer makes the 1, 2, or 4 GB RAM sizes.

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: Super thin low profile and runs like a champ.

Kingston's renowned reliability

Cons: Its small and thin be very careful with handling and placement I was creeping out seating this thing as it had to be the most delicate ram I ever held lol

Not even sure you could put a decent heatsink on ram this shallow the pic neweggs using hardly seems like the correct one maybe I have a newer version of this ram cause its friggin small.

Other Thoughts: Came with a bundled deal and runs really good but I would never pay 70 dollars for this ever. maybe 50 bucks I would consider it.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper depandable memory

Pros: I am a Kingston client. Never fall for cheap alternative - in 20 year Kingston never let me down.
Cheap and reliable solution.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Funny thing is - I bought 2 8Gb sticks separately, if you go for a 16Gb package - the same sticks will cost you 30+ dollars more.
go figure

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Lots of bits in a tiny space.

Newegg's photo of this RAM seems to be out of date. The chips that arrived seem to be low-profile RAM. They end at the top of the 2nd notch.

Cons: Use memtest86 to verify your memory. Sometimes you get lucky with a faulty bit or two.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cheap memory

Pros: Worked instantly with out any setup or head aches. The dimm is very small, and turned out to be a fantastic addition to a mini ITX system in a M350 micro case.It has been solid and it just works, and Gskill generally does.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I doubt that It would overclock by much, but its cheap.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Great value for the price.
8GB on one stick allows you to utilize your motherboard's maximum RAM.
Kingston quality.

Cons: Bit bulky, might be a tight fit on smaller mobos, but no biggy.

Other Thoughts: 8GB Sticks for desktops are hard to find at the moment, but this is a good one!
