5 out of 5 eggsBest for the money, it really is class 6!

Pros: Truly class 6. The write speed averaged 8.3MB/s for a 700MB file and never dropped below 8. The read for the same file was 14MB/s

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical but these really are class 6 cards. I' should have bought more than 3. Thanks NE, you rock!

1 out of 5 eggsCorrupted

Pros: fairy cheap

Cons: memory card appears to be corrupted. Allowed me to put some stuff it, but then I couldn't save any changes. It appeared to save changes until I removed and reinserted the card, then changes were gone. Eventually it wouldn't read in card reader, says it write protected. And yes, I made sure that it wasn't write protected. Tried formatting and it would always indicate that windows couldn't complete the format.

Other Thoughts: I have about 20 other SD cards and this is the first to not work. I've used pqi cards in the past that have worked perfectly. Probably just got a bad one.

4 out of 5 eggsNot sure about class 6

Pros: The Newegg page says that this is a class 6 SDHC. Cheap.

Cons: Does not mention class 6 anywhere on the package and I doubt that this is class 6 because they would have advertise that.

Other Thoughts: Maybe that's why this is so cheap.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor performance for DSLR

Pros: CHEAP - possibly excellent choice for music player.

Cons: Compared to my Sandisk Ultra II 8GB, this thing is exactly half as fast.

Other Thoughts: MY 12MP DSLR in L+RAW mode started to stutter after only a couple of rapid shots.
Had to suffer the looks from my wife - "You spent this much money on this camera and now I can't take pictures properly!"
I had to resort to switching the format to L (Large JPEGs) whenever she had to use it.
I finally had to buy Sandisk Ultra II and that resolved the problem.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price and nothing wrong with it

Pros: Great price for such a huge amount of storage capacity! Just because it is inexpensive, doesnt mean it's cheap!

Cons: None, does what it says

Other Thoughts: Buy it, dont think twice. Works well in my Canon 870IS

5 out of 5 eggsFor the money, it can't be beat.

Pros: Reliable. Sturdy. You can pay more for a class 6 8GB SDHC but for the money you'll likely not do better than this one. I've never once had a concern about loosing data on a PQI card and this one should be no exception.

Cons: Not blazing read/write speeds but adequate for most applications. If you frequently shoot large picture files in "continuous" mode you might want to opt for a faster card.

Other Thoughts: Wanting to double my capacity from 4 to 8gb I opted again for a PQI card. My old 4gb SDHC card served me well in a Nikon D40X and will stay in my camera bag as a backup. I am able to shoot as fast as I need with no lag in write speed. I seldom use the continuous shooting mode but when it's necessary I just pop in a 150X 2gb chip to meet the demand. Typically, as fast as you can shoot in single frame mode, the PQI card will write the data.
