4 out of 5 eggsSloooooooooow

Pros: It's small and suites my needs as a wearable thumb drive. It clips nicely to my ID badge and holds tons of work related contact and emergency information.

Cons: Very slow, about 2.6 - 3.0 MB\sec write speed with Vista, but you already know that if you have read more than 2 reviews.

Other Thoughts: This is my second mini PQI drive and both are painfully slow. I knew that going in but wasn't bothered by it because I will likely write once and just update my docs as needed.

My first PQI mini drive has been on my ID badge lanyard for 3 years and still works perfectly - just slow. If you have needs similar to mine this would be a decent drive to carry your docs and spreadsheets around with. Look elsewhere if you plan to read or write a lot of files often - especially large files.

5 out of 5 eggsExtremely convenient!

Pros: This thing is nice and small and esthetically very pleasing. I love the retractable USB detachable lid is a huge plus (I always seem to loose those things).

I've had bigger drive....but for my use 4GB is plenty of room for keeping important files with me on my key chain (mostly documents and adobe files that I am working on or bringing to meetings/class)

I keep in my key chain at all keys are always with me, so this drive is always with me when I need it.

Cons: It's slow, but that didn't bother me as I used it to keep work and school files that I wanted to keep handy...this thing is so practical that a few extra seconds to transfer files isn't that big of a con for me.

Sometimes (only sometimes) it takes a bit (only a bit) of manipulating to get the connector to make contact.

Other Thoughts: Since I kept it on my key chain which gets tossed roughed up a bit...jostled around in my bag, squeezed in and out of pockets and tossed on a hard service when I get finally fell apart.

I'm back for another to replace it!

2 out of 5 eggsvery very slow

Pros: -Real small
-Good value

Cons: -Very slow. Far from 30 MB/s advertised
-Real Write speed using WINSAT 1.27 MB/s
-Real Read speed using WINSAT 5.5 MB/s

Other Thoughts: I bought this drive ONLY for ReadyBoost but it does not gives any improvement. If you don't care about the speed. It could be ok. Any cheap flash drive is doing better than this, it's the slowest I ever seen.

1 out of 5 eggsDeader than DEAD !

Pros: Tiny, cute

Cons: I purchased this so my Fiance' could store all her Medical information (severe Juvenile Diabetes). In the event of an emergency (and we've had quite a few), emergency personnel can have immediate access to her Doctor's names and phone numbers, detailed Medical records, a complete list of all medications being actively taken. Xrays showing her degenerative lower back disease, etc., etc. etc.. Thankfully, I back up all important data such as this because this drive simply died when it was needed the most. It was actually inserted into a USB port exactly 3 times by myself and one time by an EMT--when the drive would not respond.

Other Thoughts: I can understand electronics failing, but not the forth time it's used. It was not mistreated in any way or dropped as it was always kept in a padded Medical pouch. Now, PQI says it will replace (or repair) the drive but they make you walk through hoops just to do that. PLUS, I have to pay for shipping back to PQI to have their defective product "repaired or replaced". I'm going to do it just for the principle of it--but I will never use it (or another PQI product) for the same purpose. I just happened to be with my Fiance' when she fell extremely ill and was able to provide the critical information the ParaMedics needed, which is crucial for providing the correct treatment in her case. Some Diabetics never recover from an Insulan coma. So, it's going to cost me half the price of a new drive just to send this thing back to PQI after I get "final" RMA approval. I will never deal with PQI again--and I'm a PC System's builder. Buyer BEWARE!!!

5 out of 5 eggsPretty awesome

Pros: Its tiny, which is really the reason I bought it. I threw it on a chain and I've been wearing it around my neck so I can always have it with me. The color is awesome and is very stylish.

Cons: None really. Ive only had it for a few days, but I think its going to last a while. It seems a little fragile though, and I dont think I would recommend putting it on a key chain with all of your keys. Id be too afraid that it would break. As long as you take care of it, it should be fine.

Other Thoughts: Ive read some other reviews on the other sizes/colors and people say that it doesnt always fit snugly in the USB port. I dont seem to have that problem in either my desktop or my laptop, but maybe if you have an older computer, it might be a little loose.

3 out of 5 eggspqi

Pros: Size. It's very easily portable. Good price for the amount of storage.

Cons: Breaks easily. My wife has had 2 and I've had one. All three of them have broke. They still function as far as using them for storage, however, the plastic clips keeping them retracted break easily. On mine, the plasic clip that holds it to you keychain broke.
