Purchase of Readyboost Drive
- Pros: It is a 4gb thumb drive with a good removable cap.
- Cons: Will not work in readyboost in my computer.
- Other Thoughts: Readyboost is the reason I bought it. I will be giving it away to somebody.
LIES
- Pros: It looks good and seems fast.
- Cons: NEWEGG LIED! I have 3 drives already and did not need this product but did need a ready boost drive to boost vista performance. This product is said to be compatible, so I bought it. It is not and I am stuck with a Product I did not need that will not work for the application I needed it for!
- Other Thoughts: They charged my card on the 15th and just got it today on the 24th. Waiting time is quite a wait!
Flash(less) Drive
- Pros: Write protect switch.
- Cons: DOA: When I first plugged in the drive, Wndows detected it, setup the drivers, and then informed me the drive wasn't formatted. The drive formatted ok and I could write to, and read from it. The problem came up after I safely removed & re-installed it - Back to step 1, the drived needs to be formatted. After several cycles of this I tossed it.
- Other Thoughts: Maybe it's a bad production run - The same model in black (The one that you have to pay for shipping) doesn't seem to have these problems.
