2 out of 5 eggsHorrible Support

Pros: It is cheap. If you have no problems then that is a plus.

Cons: I had this ram in an older computer. ABout 5 - 6 months after purchasing the ram. The computer started receiving memory errors. I called newegg and they stated I was out of their warranty but I could call teh manufacturer because they have a lifetime warranty.

I tried calling the manufacturer for a week and never got an answer. Kept pressing 0, rang a few times and kept going to voicemail. Left numerous voicemails and never received a phone call back. Finally spoke to someone in sales and they transfered me to tech support and got a voicemail. I just could not get through.

Finally emailed them and after a couple of days they responded.

Other Thoughts: Worst customer service from a company I have ever received.

3 out of 5 eggsDOA x2

Pros: Newegg has a great RMA policy.

Cons: Bought three 512's to max out my Asus A7V. One eventually went bad (reboots, refusal to reinstall XP (file copy errors, etc)) then with several errors in Windows RAM Diagnostic. RMA'd. Newegg sent replacement. New one fails a few times, too. XP doesn't seem to mind (yet), but we'll see.

Other Thoughts: I thought PQI was a leader?

5 out of 5 eggsReliable

Pros: Got two sticks of pqi 512MB RAM for one of our school's department computers and it's been working great. No problems, easy like all RAM should be and it improves performance. I'd recommend this to anyone that still uses this type of RAM.

Cons: None so far except that it's just an older type of RAM.

3 out of 5 eggsOk

Pros: fast shipping!

Cons: Expensive

Other Thoughts: Dell sucks. I bought this for a lady I'm the office as a quick upgrade to her PC. her computer didn't recognize the chip, at first i thought it DOA, but then tested it on someone eases computer, and it worked fine. I just swapped memory with another person.

2 out of 5 eggspqims3812uoe review

Pros: Easy to install.

Cons: Failed Memory test. I have an obselete motherboard (ASUSTeK Computer INC.P3V133) but still the memory module I do have from xerox(SDRAM, PC133 (133 MHz), 256 MBytes, Xerox) works well but I cannot figure out why this memory module would fail the memory test. However it did so I cannot recommend this module for the inexperienced and those willing to experiment with upgrading older model mother boards, it may not work.

Other Thoughts: A little expensive.

2 out of 5 eggs50% good

Pros: Low price, fast

Cons: You get what you pay for, One stick worked and one didn't.

Memcheck actually stopped there was so many errors after 5% scan

Other Thoughts: Newegg RMA'd instantly - should eventually get a working stick. Actually, the one 512 that replaced the two 256 sticks is way faster.
