Natural selection: the weak die young. And that's the idea behind Geil's burn-in process: stress those chips so the ones prone to failure die before they ever get to the customer. In short, what high-end manufacturers normally bring to mil-spec components is now coming to inexpensive memory.
Okay, there's not a lot about memory that is genuinely exciting, and when it is, it's usually the wrong sort of exciting. Geil's burn-in testing is intended to make certain that your memory is as boringly reliable as you could hope for. When it comes to memory, whether you're a gamer, a hobbyist or a business-person, boring is GOOD.
But don't take our word for it. Do the research yourself and make up your own mind. If this is the perfect choice for you, we'll still be here when you get back.

- Pros: This Ram is Awesome. It runs at DDR2 964 4-4-4-12 (trc 18) 2T
- Cons: NONE
- Other Thoughts: Running on Vista 64 - Asus M2R32-MVP M.B. - Athlon x2 6400+ O.C. 241x14=3.374 ghz - 2x HD2900XT - Enermax 1000w P.S.
Solid RAM but not for overclocking
- Pros: Memtest86+ stable 5-5-5-15 ddr2 800 1.9v as stated.
Runs cool at that setting - no heatspreaders needed.
Cool red eyes.
- Cons: Unlike the previous reviewers stated, this is not overclocking ram. Fails memtest86+ 464 fsb 5-5-5-15 at 2.2v. If it can't even do that, I seriously doubt 4-4-4-12 is possible. Didn't try 2.3 or 2.4v - but who runs their ram above 2.2v 24/7 anyways? On my overclocked e8500 E0 4.4ghz (9.5 x 464) this ram would fail while my pc2 8000 g.skill ran orthos fine.
- Other Thoughts: Well, it was about the cost of a tank of gas so no big deal.
