GeIL making a name!
- Pros: 8GB, fastest clock available for this size kit.
- Cons: none, cost is comparable for its specs
- Other Thoughts: vista and OC friendly, this ram is awesome, I was skeptical to try a new brand in my pc but GeIL is starting to impress me with their low cost but high performance. If name brand is the only thing you're unsure of, trust me, GeIL's esoteria and evo one series are rubbing elbows if not walking over Corsair's XMS and dominator series.

- Pros: good memory.. yeah it has big heat spreaders on it but if you didn't know that till you got it you must be blind and not read reviews..
i bought 8gb here for sub $300 dollars and put it TWO machines, couldn't be happier no crowding.
- Cons: well as has been beat into the ground they are big and may-or-may not all be able to be installed in one MB
- Other Thoughts: guess I should thank all the bad reviewers for the deal i got on 8gb of this ram.
NICE
Bad Form Factor
- Pros: Neweggs service is great. I've never had problems with Newegg!It is not their fault the RAM is bad.
- Cons: If you get this RAM, please note that the plastic decoration on the heat spreader is really thick, and as a result, you might have problems, as I did, with getting the ram to fit in the slots side by side. Second, I had to lower the speed of the RAM from 800 Ghz to 700 Ghz in order to get the system to boot up into Windows Vista 64. Yuck!
I managed to get everything working, but it was more work than it should have been. Steer clear of this RAM is my advice. Get some Black Dragon RAM in you like GEIL RAM. I have that in my other system (Also purchased from Newegg!) and it was much easier to install.
