Pros: Now one stick died. The blue memory screen appeared. I suddenly has 3.95GB available and 8GB installed and I was in single channel.

DEAD STICK

MOBO checks out one as dead with no boot of system. I hope to find this is a rare anomaly with Golden Emperor. I have GEiL sticks that are ten years old that function fine.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: The egg is doing an RMA for me.

I really never had a RAM failure.

Pros: I felt the snap of the higher speed instantly.

The look is great.

Set default at 1600. Some 1600 kits set up at 1076 and 1333...or what every corresponding lower DDR3 speed and need a BIOS tweak.

I feel the 2150Mhz [or whatever] will come if I get absolutely every thing set perfect. I had the high speed and tweak some other things I should have left alone.

I am enjoying 1600 stable.

I bought a few supposed 1600 sets for like $30 and they read 1050Mhz in the BIOS default.

Cons: $50 may be more than others. Others may not hold 1600.

Other Thoughts: I like the 1600 set with no BIOS tweaking.
