Veloce, the Italian word for "speed," hence the name of GeIL's 4th generation top of the line EVO DDR3 Hardcore Gaming Memory - EVO Veloce.
EVO Veloce is equipped with the latest Veloce heat-spreader, designed with GeIL's MTCD technology - Maximum Thermal Conduction & Dissipation - for superior cooling efficiency. The standard EVO Veloce will come with a metallic hotrod-Red heat-spreader while selective top end specifications receive the limited Frost White finish treatment.

Pros: It worked... for a day.
Cons: I added this 8GB kit to my system that already had a 4GB kit. It worked for a day. Today my PC crashed (which it had been stable for the longest time). My immediate thought was that the only thing that changed recently is the addition of new memory. I just tried to reboot and power off/on, my PC wouldn't even POST. I then took the new memory out and left my old memory in. The computer booted up fine and went into Windows 8.1, no problems. I then wanted to verify that indeed there was a problem with the new memory, so I took my old memory out and only kept the new memory in there. My PC wouldn't POST or boot into Windows. So, I concluded that I got a bad kit and RMA-ing it back to NewEgg. I will not be getting the same brand though. Right now, my old 4GB kit memory is back in my PC and I am typing this review from the same PC with no stability problems whatsoever.
