Great Price?
- Pros: Works Great. not DoA. Hasn't failed in over one year.
- Cons: Doesn't run out of the box at 1066. I still can't get it to run at 1066 despite doing everything both my MOBO and Corsair people have said to do.
- Other Thoughts: I bought this ram just 1 year ago and the price today has skyrocketed from 50 dollars to 80 dollars. What gives? I was going to order another set of this ram, but at this price you can get 4gb of RAM.
I thought it was good memory . . .
- Pros: Seemed like the right memory to buy . . . corsair flyer has "This memory has been verified to operate at 1066MHz at latencies of 5-5-5-15."
- Cons: Problem is though, after using for a while, caused intermittent BSOD on my father-in-law's build (using Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L). Ran tests, researched forums. Concluded either bad motherboard or bad RAM. Installed new RAM (this ram) in new ASUS P5QL/EPU. Worked fine for a while, then BSOD. Ran tests, researched forums. Ordered G.Skill RAM listed on ASUS' verified vendor list. Now works great!! Anyone need 4x1GB sticks of this RAM?
- Other Thoughts: Should have limited RAM search to approved compatibility with motherboard . . .
Great ram
- Pros: Great ram so far! Stuck it in my older Pentium 4 box. Running at 462mhz (DDR2-924) with 4-3-4-4 timings @ 2.2v with no issues!
- Cons: Won't run at 2-2-2-2 timings ;)
- Other Thoughts: A bubble envelope? Seriously Newegg?
