5 out of 5 eggsGreat upgrade for older laptop

Pros: Sale price was very good, worked perfectly, cheap upgrade to keep an older computer running well for business.

Cons: Did not solve 'out of memory issue' with MS Works (but that is not the fault of the product)

Other Thoughts: Sale price of just over $20 each made 2 Gb memory upgrade attractive for my old workhorse Averatec laptop under XP Pro. This laptop is essential for our business billing with MS Works because Works databases can't be exported to MS Office without rebuilding the database (only data can be transferred). I had been getting out of memory errors and hoped that doubling memory would solve the problem. It did not, but I am still very happy with the upgrade. The laptop boots faster and runs better than ever with the added memory and a new SSD (Transcend TS64GPSD330 2.5" 64GB PATA - also from Newegg).

5 out of 5 eggsExtended a MX6440 usefulness

Pros: Priced just right.
Works in a Gateway MX6440
Keeps working even when the rest of the computer is ready to do a thermal shutoff.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I used this to max out the ram in a old laptop that somebody passed too me. No problems at all even under high temperature situations building software. I use Xubuntu x64 and had to build a program here and there from source and even when the rest of the computer gets hot, this ram gets the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great With No Issues

Pros: I have been using this RAM since Sept. 2010 and it still works great. You Can't go wrong with Crucial, Kingston or G.SKILL.

Cons: The sad thing is that I'm still using the single core laptop to this day..

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's memory, and it works just like it should.

Cons: Not that I know of.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for the wife's old Macintosh computer and it works great. It is 1 GB sticks of 200 pin SODIMM DDR1 PC2700 333MHz. I've never had a problem with Crucial memory and hope I never will. They make a good product.
