Pros: Great quality RAM from Corsair. Very reliable and never broke a sweat for the past 4 years its been running at 1066MHz @ 2.2V with the original fans. I got it cheap off a website so I guess thats a pro. I tried overclocking the modules with excellent results. I currently have them at DDR2 1141 MHz @ 2.3V and stays cool thanks to the fans.

Cons: none. they still work and its been 4 years!

Other Thoughts: I love the colour and the heatsinks on the ram. they look so cool.

Pros: Good fast ram, but one stick failed after almost 3yrs. DDR3 was cheaper so kept cpu and changed motherboard and ram type.

Pros: RAM is running great for 3-4 years now. Have never had any issues with MemTest checks. Not using the included fans has had no degrading effects (see cons below), but my case fan is providing adequate cooling.

Cons: One of the 3 fans included started making noise within 4 months of use, so I just removed it. This saves power, but I have a pretty good case fan to compensate for cooling.

Other Thoughts: I installed this nearly 4 years ago have it has yet to disappoint.

Pros: Will oc to 1143 at 2.1v 5-5-5-15, works great

Cons: the fans are a little loud and have began to squeak on startup, but not after they run for a few minutes. I bought a fan controller to slow them down and its perfect

Pros: Memory works to spec, cooling fan that came with this package works well and was easy to install.

Cons: Does not overclock as well as the 2gb corsair dominator RAM.

Other Thoughts: Decent sticks of RAM, when I purchased these, DDR2 memory was at a huge price dip, so the value was a little better. Definately can't reach the same overclocking levels of the 2gb sticks that they replaced, but that's not too unexpected.

Pros: When new, cooling fan assy worked great.

Cons: Mounting was fair but I to worried about the slippage. I guess Corsair assumes the case won't be moved at all. (Even for periodic cleaning & such). The fans failed within a few months squealing like a banshee. Had to remove completely. I bought two sets of this memory and the second sets fan failed the same way.

Other Thoughts: The memory looks beefy but sometimes you can't tell a book by the cover. Looking to get an exact warranty replacement but I see from other reviews that some past warranty requests didn't work out so well. Hope Corsair is a customer oriented company.

Pros: Worked very well before going bad.

Cons: Should have lasted longer. (In 25+ years of computer service this is one case in a handfull I have ever seen).

Other Thoughts: Like another reviewer my memory lasted about 2 years. The first sign of trouble was the computer locking up. At first I could reboot and everything was fine. No sign of heat problems and the case is ventilated like a tornado. Then finally the computer wouldn't boot at all. Removed one stick at a time and quickly found the problem, a single stick. Corsair has a lifetime warranty and a request for an RMA has been submitted. Hope they are as quick as NewEgg?

Pros: Ran great for almost 2 years!

Cons: Had a stick go bad on me.

Other Thoughts: I'm not saying they should last forever, but seeing how I wasn't even overclocking, I would expect Corsair ram to last longer then 2 years! Last time I purchase Corsair, sticking with G-Skill now for all my memory needs. Corsair lost a long time customer. I been a system builder for 10 years, first time I had a stick of ram go bad on me.

Pros: Complements the rest of my PC well.

Great performance, no problems after a year.

Looking to build a new comp soon and I will probably hold on to these to move to the new comp to pair them with some new RAM instead of buying 8 gigs of brand new RAM.

I haven't really done any research to see if the fans actually help, but it does offer some peace of mind for temp control.

Cons: The ONLY thing I can think of is how the fans clip to the ram. When I installed it, it seemed to slide around real easy and I was afraid that it would fall off when I moved the case.
But, after a year and half and moving it probably about a dozen times, the fans haven't moved, much less fallen off

Pros: I had the first pair for a over a year now, no issues at all.

worked so well I came back for seconds and now have a total of 8GB of ram

fans it comes with are very quiet

Cons: None, ram has been flawless.

Other Thoughts: Why so much ram? because virtualization is the future! and I plan to go into a IT field where I will likely be testing VMs and such.

Win7 64bit and Ubuntu 64 bit are my primary oses. both see all the ram fine.
