Corsair makes overclocking easy. Its Dominator series Triple Channel kits set the standard for enthusiast-oriented memory modules developed for the up-to-the-minute Intel Core i7 processor / Intel X58 Express Chipset. This triple channel 6GB kit is rated to run at 1600MHz and has CL 8-8-8-24 timings for speedy performance. Each kit is 100% hand tested for performance and compatibility.
To keep everything running cool, these modules use DHX (Dual-path Heat eXchange) technology. The patented heat-removing PCB is surrounded by Corsair's signature heat sink with fins and ribs for cool running memory even under the hottest action. So game hard, game long, your memory can handle it!
This new 6GB kit ensures optimal performance via an ideal combination of low voltage requirements, speed, and latency, so it's a perfect match for the Nehalem platform to unleash performance you could only dream of before.
Pros: Too many to list. Fast, reliable, and is it not overclockable? Reliable as ever; never had a problem with Corsair memory. The cooling fins look incredible - just had to throw that in there. DDR3 can do magic. Go to Nvidia Forums, look for CUDA Programming and Development, and look for a thread titled "x58 Chipset PCIE Bandwidth." There you will find an interesting discussion (and real performance data) of how fast DDR3 triple channel with Core i7 really is.
Cons: If you find any cons, contact me...
Other Thoughts: Ok, I want to correct some misconceptions about these modules. They are not DDR3 1066 MHz stock. The only reason hey run at 1066 is because the Core i7's memory controller is rated at 1066 MHz; anything above that overclocks the CPU's memory controller. These are actually DDR3 1333 sticks with huge overclocking potential. They have SPD settings for 1333MHz @ 9-10-10-25 and 1.5V (standard for DDR3). There's also an XMP Profile set for 1600 @ 8-8-8-24 and 1.65V; here's where the overclocking is, but they're guaranteed to work at these settings. So if you want to operate these anywhere above Intel's slow 1066MHz, you will have to dig through the BIOS and increase speed yourself. THAT IS DUE TO THE CPU, NOT THE STICKS!!! Luckily, all you have to do is select XMP Profile 1 and it will run at its true potential.

Pros: No problems at all installing and running first try. Looks great and has the performance to match.
Cons: Not a con for the memory but something to keep in mind. Make sure you check your bios timings. My asus had the memory running at 9-9-9-24 so change that, also change the speed to 1600mhz.
Other Thoughts: Core I7 965EE, Asus P6T Deluxe, CM HAF case, 6gb Dominators, ToughPower 1200, 4870X2 gpu, 2 x VRaptor Raid 0, 1 x WD640, Vista 64bit.

Pros: So I purchased this kit to go with my evga x58/ core i7 920 build and it's performed quite well thus far. it does 1600mhz @ 8-8-8-24-74-1T no problem... and it does this all at 1.575 volts.... not the rated 1.65 that it "needs"
So with 1.6volts it'll even do 8-8-8-19-59-1T
and at 1.65 you can make it do a nice 7-7-7-12-59-1T
Though not wanting to tempt fate and loving their stock speeds I'm running mine currently at 1866 with 1.65 volts (thats a 266mhz oc for those who hate math like I do) at an amazing 8-8-8-24-59-1T I'm sure if I losened the timings up to the 9-9-9's I coul probably go up to 2000mhz!!!!
But why bother?
Vista already loads up in less than 12 seconds from the moment I hit the power button.
Cons: This is the first corsair kit I've ever owned and used. I've always heard great things but never bit the bullet because of their high prices.
I'm glad I didn't cut corners this time around and splurged on the good stuff ^^
I'm definately gonna be a corsair customer for life from this point foward.
Other Thoughts: They're not the cheapest kit out there but a month ago they were $350 and now they're under $230!!! I paid something like $275 for mine. Get them while they're cheap!!!!

Cons: Nothing noted, ran a "benchmark-torture test" immediately upon installation of the DIMMs and life is good!
Other Thoughts: This is being used in a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard as Tri-Channel RAM. If you have problems with your installation, make sure you are installing them in the correct DIMMS (I believe they are black and blue) so you run Tri-Channel.
