Im sure its great RAM
- Pros: Great speed/timings for the rated voltage needed to provide them. Im sure the i7 platform would benefit using this ram the extra head room this will allow. Highly "binned" ram, hopefully this series of DDR3 will last longer then DDR2 "D9" ram......
- Cons: none really....Corsair makes great ram no doubt....
- Other Thoughts: This is for the comment that "Roomraider" left, and with a "TECH" understanding of "HIGH" really makes me question his ability to "factually" answer questions. RoomRaider wrote that the user **MUST** have Vista64 installed to get full performance from this ram.. THAT IS **NOT** TRUE BY ANY MEANS! All you need is a 64bit version of an OS and thats it. I run XP64 with 12GB's ram and is PERFECT, also use linux64 on another box, and it has 6GB RAM...works perfect. I made this "comment" here on NEwegg to let people know/understand YOU DONT NEED VISTA64 TO USE THIS RAM, THAT WOULD BE STUPID. YOU JUST NEED A 64BIT OS OF YOUR LIKING! GOODLUCK.
Best triple channel memory out
- Pros: This is the second best product you can buy (RAM wise). The only thing that beats this performance is the Corsair DOMINATOR GT, which aren't even out yet. That will cost a estimated 650 USD.
- Cons: Lots of money, but the best RAM (2GB modules) on the market right now.
- Other Thoughts: If I used this much cash on RAM, I'd wait a few weeks for the Corsair DOMINATOR GT's to be released, and maybe buy those if the price isn't 'extreme'.

Fast and smooth
- Pros: Awesome RAM, rons fast and smooth. Highly overclockable.

Love them
- Pros: Fast, look great, come with ram fan that will sit over 6 sticks of ram and they're stable. Fans seem fairly quiet, or at least my other fans are drowning out the sound.
- Cons: The fan cover doesn't seem to secure to the ram all that well, but good enough that it won't fall off. It actually clamps over the ram tabs on the motherboard.
- Other Thoughts: I've got these in my new rig with an i7 920 D0. The ram isn't running at 1866 like speced, but there's a reason for that. On the i7 mobo's, the ram speed is linked to the processor speed. I wanted a 4Ghz i7 (20x200) but if i used the 1600 MHz ram, the ram would be running at max rated values. I instead got this 1866 Mhz version so that I have more freedom with the CPU clock and it's not really a problem if the ram is running a bit under spec, I can just tighten the timings and I have overall more freedom.
