Dominate your game and overclock harder with the Corsair Dominator GT memory kit. These modules are built with the highest quality components, and have gone through extensive in-house testing to guarantee performance and compatibility. This triple channel 6GB kit is rated to run at 2000MHz and has CL 8-8-8-24 timings for speedy performance.

As one of the most well respected manufacturers of memory technology, Corsair thoughtfully crafted next-generation DHX heat spreaders into these modules to deflect all the thermal energy that you create daily away from their core. The removable fins allow multiple cooling options for the Dominator GT modules, including water cooling, as well as a custom-designed thermoelectric cooling system to actively cool the modules to as low as 20°C below ambient temperature for maximum overclockability. Each kit also ships with the Corsair Airflow fan to maximize airflow over the module’s cooling fins, increasing heat dissipation to improve memory performance and reliability.

The unique combination of over-clocking performance, guaranteed reliability and compatibility, the Dominator GT is the ultimate solution for the ultra enthusiast and overclocker.

5 out of 5 eggsSafe to Use

Pros: Fastest RAM on the planet - bar none, and very hard to find. They look awesome and intimidating. Corsair's online store has extra-length red fins that you can swap out for better cooling performance. Instant bragging rights for the person who needs the best of everything.

Cons: There was a news story that Corsair discovered some of the chips they purchased to make these RAM modules were failing, so they've pulled these kits from shelves until they can identify the trouble. Mine have worked great so far.

Other Thoughts: You do NOT have to put your bclk up to 200 to run this RAM. These modules are XMP compliant, so enabling XMP in your BIOS automatically pulls up a profile with a bclk of 143 (over 133 stock) and an increased memory multiplier to get the RAM to its rated speed.

5 out of 5 eggsWow, all new levels of great

Pros: Extremely fast and capable memory, looks GREAT on classified motherboard, worth the money

Cons: For an i7 machine, you have to overclock to get it to specified timings, and the fan is the second loudest fan in my case.

Other Thoughts: i7, HAF, classified mobo, thors hammer cpu heatsink, gtx 260, bfg 1200w power supply, wb caviar black

To get the ram to near-specified timings I have my QPI set to nearly 200 - DONT DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, your psu and mobo can take it, and have an adequate cooling system. Lots of voltages are set higher and whatnot, but in order to get everything working you HAVE to overclock it, just take note...

5 out of 5 eggsC-12, H-22, O-11

Pros: SCHWEET!

Cons: They should include the newer, longer cooling fins.

Other Thoughts: The installed profile is so high that the cooling fan actually interferes with the airflow of my Thermalright Ultra 120. SO, I had to ditch the fan, add the longer fins and, Viola!

5 out of 5 eggsStill the Best

Pros: The best there is, period. Customer support is outstanding. Lifetime!!!!!! Also, there go very well with my Evga Classified 759 motherboard. You can run these at stated speed and CPU at 3.4 with all setting default. Outstanding.

Cons: Took me three sets to get one that would run at stable speed at rate volts.

Other Thoughts: Even through it took three times to get a good set, I would not pass these up for the world.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product, High Value!

Pros: Have this running at 1950 MHz at Cas 7, 8, 7, 24 even though it is rated at 8,8,8,24 at 2000 MHz!! Would have to overclock higher on Asus P6T Deluxe to hit 2000 MHz. Probably not worth the extra voltage to do so, so I will stay here for now.

Cons: To run at 2000 MHz at a possible 7,9,7,24 make sure you increase QPI/Dram voltage (Uncore) to 1.60V. This is where XMP sets this voltage to get this Ram to run at 2000 MHz. You can than try lowering this voltage until the system does not boot, and then adjust the voltage up a little from there . Right now I have this set to 1.55V. I will try to get my system to run with this set lower.
You will also need to set Dram Core Voltage to 1.64-1.66V too. If you do not do the above, you will thing the memory is defective!!

Other Thoughts: Great High End Product. It is actually worth the price for this level of performance, build quality, and included memory cooler fan. Compatalbility with Asus P6T Deluxe is a plus, since this is harder to achieve than with EVGA X58 boards. Most people seem to have great results with EVGA boards and high end memory, but sometimes Asus boards and high end memory do not always play nice with each other without a lot of tweaking, and then there still could be some issues.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Stuff

Pros: Very fast memory. I'm not overclocking it now and I don't think I will. Runs fast and cool - even without the fan.

Cons: Wish I could buy a 4th stick for a total of 8GB... my last memory slot is lonely.

5 out of 5 eggsStandard luxury for OC.

Pros: Great look.
Great overall memory.
Great cooling without the fan included.
Works fantastic when overclocking and no problems at all. I OC this memory to 2.2 ish for the 48 hour burn in but did not want to push it and backed off to 2.

Cons: Hmmm... it's petty but I really wanted the fan to be more than it is. It looks pretty and is actually a fairly good fan but the clamp used to "connect" to the memory is the lamest thing since the bank bailout. I'd rather have paid 10 or 15 bucks less and not had the fan.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great, and fast.

Cons: Does not work at 2000MHz out of the box.

Other Thoughts: Its running at DDR3-1857 8-8-8-24 right now, I need to overclock my i7 920 a bit to have the ram working at its speced speed of 2000MHz 8-8-8-24.
