4 out of 5 eggsIt's been great

Pros: Runs fast, although you have to set the timings manually. Stays cool with the heatsinks, I'm not using the fan (see below).

Cons: I think my fan was missing some parts as I couldn't get it to connect properly to the clips. I have good airflow in my case though, so I haven't been using the fan.

Other Thoughts: I really like this memory, although it felt weird paying more for memory than I did for a high-end motherboard. I will, however, be buying an additional set of this memory.

Pros: Only pro so far is that Corsair replaced my memory twice.

Cons: Only con so far is that Corsair had to replace my memory twice.

Other Thoughts: I had the original sticks which went bad, so Corsair give me these, and they fail, then they give me more of these, so far running for a week. They don't seem to overclock very well. I have a Rampage II Extreme and I also have a spare set of G.Skill 2000mhz, they run great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: i currently have this ram running at 1950mhz in my i7 build and couldn't be happier. if i had to do it over i might get the 2000mhz version but since this set has almost made it to that mark i cant complain.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Corsair ram is a well made solid product. i have never personally had one of their products give out on me.

3 out of 5 eggsAlways have problems

Pros: Theoretically it is fast RAM. Aggressive timings perform better on X58 systems than increasing the RAM clock.

Cons: Although DFI will tell you otherwise this is not compatible with DFI X58 boards. I have also used it on an eVga X58 Classified on which it actually can reach 1866, however I still have crashes in Vista x64 that point to the memory if I don't run it at 1066. All sticks pass Memtest. Corsair has admitted on their forum also that if you choose to run 12GB of this memory it cannot run at 1866. In my case it would only post at 1066 with 12GB.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking to overclock do not buy this ram if you arent using an i7 965 or 975 because when you OC the an i7 with a locked multiplier (like the 920) you will get more stable results with ram that is designed to run at 1600.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Installed 6 of these (12GB total). Running them at 1.65v @1866 (actually slightly faster at 1870) along with Intel i7 975 EE CPU and nVidia 295 GTX. No issues and great performance.

Cons: None.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Cooling jackets work. Finally got it to run at advertised speeds.

Cons: Simply did not work at advertised speeds and Corsair would not accept RMA/return until I waited for bios to become compatible, even though they advertised them as compatible with my board (DFI Lan Party JR X58-T3H6). They had to be run at 1066 for 4 bios revisions, which was about 4 months. Now they can get to advertised settings but are very picky when you alter the FSB.
Fan assembly touches the back of first video card on my board making it useless.

Other Thoughts: Paid extra before they were released in stores, was a waste. I believe my RAM is what is causing me not to be able to get a high clock on Core i7 920.
