1 out of 5 eggsfussy on cold boot - RMA'd today

Pros: works great when it decided to boot correctly without looping bsod or "repair windows" errors. It did run at rated speed when setting the bios correctly. Looks great and colors matched the MB

Cons: I found only one stick would cold boot without any trouble and the other would boot maybe once out of 5 attempts, after the system "warmed up". I even updated the MB bios thinking that may fix the problem.....no such luck.

FYI....Asus-p7p55d deluxe running I5-750 processor

Other Thoughts: the hardest part in this troubleshooting process was waiting long enough to let the components cool down or discharge enough to test them again on another COLD boot. Waiting only 2-3 hrs wasn't enough time to get another bsod. It would take up to 4-5hrs with the system off without power cord plugged in

5 out of 5 eggsREAD THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!

Pros: This Memory is a very good, high quality product. It is also very well supported by the manufacturer if you have a problem. My system is an i5-750 2.66Ghz running at 3.36Ghz, and its rock solid and cool all running on air. Better than I expected. Thanks Corsair and Newegg!

Cons: Having to read the stuff that some people that don't know what they are talking about write.

Other Thoughts: As far as the Rebate is concerned, if you don't wait until the 21st day to send it in you will get it. If you don't do YOUR part don't whine if you don't get the rebate or expect Corsair to make an exception for "You" because your ...... you....putz

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Product

Pros: This memory is fine. The product does what it is supposed to do and more. I built an i5-750 based system and it runs great.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I am amazed at how many people post really dumb comments about the "memory isn't recognized at 1600" or "OK after I corrected in bios" blah blah blah. People KNOW your systems components and specs before you make statements about the product not do what its advertised at. All of these systems mentioned are 1333 by default so when you plug in a stick rated at 1600 or 2400 or a million its going to default to 1333 as the system designed to do. You will then need to make the adjustments required to achive the added "speed" your memory is capable of. ALL memory rated above the defalt speed is backward compatible regarding speed so it will default to the default rating of the MOBO chipset. POINT, know what your talking about before you run your jib.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good value

Pros: Good fast ram for less than $100! I did end up buying 3 sets of this to run 12gb in tri channel because its cheaper to buy 3 sets of this than the exact same ram in a 12gb pack. Not a single dead stick out of 6 and runs very well in my system.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Definitely worth the money.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: good newegg shipping as usual

Cons: both sticks went bad in little over a week. Worked great up until that point. Then is was BSOD at least 50% of the times I booted up. Ran memtest, and instantly got thousands of errors.

Other Thoughts: RMA'd both, hopefully the next two will work consistently

1 out of 5 eggsRam OK, beware the rebate

Pros: New RAM is OK after RMA.

Cons: Incompatibility problems, bad sticks, rebate refused.

Other Thoughts: The first problem was that I got two bad sticks. After going through the RMA process the new pair was OK. The other problem was with the rebate. I read carefully, you get 21 days from date of purchase, not 30. OK. I quickly sent it in and it was rejected because the day they say received it -- not the day I sent it (post mark date) was after the 21 days. If you do decide to buy Corsiar, do not expect to actually get the rebate. They'll weasel out of it somehow.
