Other Thoughts: I was a little weary replacing my 4gb memory with this 8gb value setup, but given the price, I had to give it a chance. My system recognized the memory right away. I did have to manually configure the ram timings and voltage to get 1600mhz (linked/synced).
I'm running the nVidia 790i SLI motherboard with the Intel qx9770 CPU overclocked to 3.8Ghz. The system is 100% stable.

Pros: It does its job kinda.

Cons: Caused my system to become unstable. Would get random blue screens, citing memory manager, random video driver crashes, random desktop manager crashes. I ran memtest on the ram for periods up to 12-14hrs with no errors. I pulled this ram out and reinstalled the ram I originally had in my machine, errors gone; system is back to normal.

Pros: Good brand name (generally) Good competitive pricing.

Cons: 2 of the 4 DIMMS in this kit tested faulty on memtest. I did not even check the other two. 50% fail rate is reason enough for me to go to another brand.

Other Thoughts: As others have said in previous reviews. You may want to consider passing on this lower end memory and spend a bit more to ensure quality of the product.

Pros: A good name brand PSU for a fair price that feels solid and is pretty quiet.

Cons: 24 pin connector could be a little longer, but for most builds, should be fine.

Pros: After almost 2 months of use, I can report no issues with this RAM. No problems during or after installation, and my PC runs a lot smoother after upgrading from 4x1GB to 4x2GB.

Very good purchase for an under-priced item.

Cons: N/A

Pros: problably the best ram to buy. but i am biased towards corsair.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: really great product at a great price.

Pros: Works. Cheap. Doesn't look ridiculous.

Cons: Does not create bacon when pressed.

Other Thoughts: Works as quad channel, but you need the right MB and processor to do so. It may also default to 1300 mhz, and needs to be changed in the bios.

Version 8.16, made in Taiwan.

Pros: This memory worked flawlessly (IN QUAD CHANNEL) on my ASUS x79 motherboard coupled with an intel 3930k motherboard. It was plug and play and the XMP profile to bump it to 1600 from 1333 worked perfectly. Absolutely no errors.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I have always bought corsair products and have used them for every available part (ssd, ram, case, psu etc) and ive never been let down. ive received 3 sticks of ram total that were defective out of 100+ kits ive bought for custom system and corsair was not any of those 3. Their warranties are great and they give great service.

Pros: Worked great on first boot, then no problems for a couple months of very sporadic usage.

Cons: Constant BSOD's that became progressively frequent. Failed memtest86. I use my pc sporadically so I am well past the newegg warranty. Waiting for Corsair to respond to my RMA... Meanwhile I can't use my PC for more than a few minutes without a BSOD.

Other Thoughts: Dead sticks are fairly common, I guess. Still sucks when it happens to you. Better QC please.

Pros: In respect to Corsair, I have never had an issue with their memory.

Cons: The only reason I purchased this (model number) memory was because it was in the "Quad Channel Kit" listing and I was under the impression is was a "Quad Channel" memory. It is NOT. Corsair website specs this out as "DUAL CHANNEL" memory. BE AWARE!

Other Thoughts: (hopefully) will get an RMA and a FULL refund for these chips. Have already ordered the correct "quad channel" memory. DO YOUR RESEARCH!
