Great Ram Bad Fan

Pros: fast, high overclock ability and works well with core i7.

Cons: Fans started to make a buzzing nose after about a month. if you can connect it to a 3 pin header that can change the speed because the seem to wear out if they run on max speed.

Other Thoughts: If you need the extra cooling the then this bad but not real necessary, since the ram has big heat sinks anyway. Didnt want to knock off an egg but was tempted because these sticks don't come cheap.

Pros: Great DIMMS running at 7-7-7-20 with no problems. Fan is nice with watercooling, but seems as though it would exhaust hot air from the DIMMS to the intake for a CPU fan.

Pros: I bought this to run my Core i7 920 on an EVGA X58 SLI LE overclocked. I followed a simple tutorial on the Evga forums to clock this RAM at 1600Mhz and the CPU at 4.1Ghz. The RAM holds up well in Prime95, SuperPi, and the Intel BurnIn App.

Cons: The fans are a little noisy but inside the case you can hardly hear them. I am also not a fan of how it attaches to the RAM levers. It's not very secure but unless you move your PC a lot, you should be fine.

Other Thoughts: I've read various forums where people are having problems running 12GB so I went with 6GB.
