Pros: RAM looks good and performs at stock speeds. RAM came in a nice box. Well packed.

Cons: 1. RAM will not run at 1600MHz at all (BSOD every time). I have adjusted the timings and voltage many different ways. It won't run at 1600MHz.
2. The Fan kit is completely useless. Yes, it really mounts to the plastic DIMM tabs. Terrible solution. The really bad part of this issue is Corsair is aware of the problem. Every forum sight I have visited has members complaining about the fan kit.

Other Thoughts: I hate having to write this review. I will RMA. It cost way to much not perform at the timings and frequency they advertise.

High Quality/Recommend w/o Fan Kit

Pros: Excellent looking RAM. Stable at 1333/1600. Each stick has it's own package and the fan kit is in it's own box. Nice job from Corsair.

Corsair Cust Svc was quick, nice, friendly. The Tech I spoke with was very helpfull and seemed more knowledable than me.

My RAM works fine. You may have to adjust your CPU-NB-VDD Voltage (Slightly) to give your system the kick it needs to stablize. Do this ONLY if you know what your doing.

Cons: I have to admit the fan kit brackets are terrible. They are loose and unsecure. They mount and tighten to the plastic DIMM tabs that secure the RAM into place. It just moves around, shifting, etc...That's a shame because the RAM without the fan kit is $197.

Other Thoughts: *****Read your MOBO manual first, verify from the QVL, and then call the Manf. before you buy your RAM and make sure it is compatible with your Motherboard and CPU.

I gave Corsair 4 eggs because of the additional cost of the fan kit that is (In my opinion) completely useless. That's $25 I could have spent elsewhere on more performance.

This is a top teir RAM package. More thought should have been given to the fan kit brackets for this kind of $$$.

Pros: Stable. Fast. benchmarked .1 higher than my processor

Cons: price. but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: the black and red heat spreaders accent my radeon 5770 and case very well.
