5 out of 5 eggsSlick!

Pros: It plugged into my new motherboard without a problem, and both sticks were without fault. Exactly what you want in gaming RAM. Looks cool, too.

Cons: A bit more expensive than I would like, especially considering that I only bought 4 gigs. Get the 8 gigs, folks!

Other Thoughts: Get the 8 gigs, folks!

5 out of 5 eggsNice Heat Sinks...

Pros: It works. Heat fins are a little tall. One does come close to the Zagman 9700 cpu cooling fins, but the that is radially, so I don't think heat will be an issue.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat ram

Pros: Great ram overall. It's ran well in my computer for about 6 months now with no problems, passed memtest with no errors.

Cons: The heatsyncs are a little tall, if you have an aftermarket cooler these will almost surely interfere. However this wasn't my case, certainly not taking an egg off

Other Thoughts: well, i'm building a whole new system, and if it wasn't for the fact i'm getting an aftermarket cooler, i would be getting the 2x4gb set to put in. If you just need this for general home use, light gaming or so on, it's perfect.

with my rig i can run Arma 2 with medium settings at roughly 30fps

NVidia Gtx260

ECS 885gm-a2 mobo

Amd athon II x2 3.2 ghz(OCed to 3.8)

750 watt psu(old thing with unknown brand)

That's the important stuff.

3 out of 5 eggsuseless customer support

Pros: n/a

Cons: Installed the RAM in a new build. Everything went together fine. After about a week I started to noticed random BSOD's, but the system would reboot without an issue. A month later Windows encounters a fatal error and cannot reboot. I started trouble shooting, first the MOBO then the HDD. Finally I followed all the steps on the Corsair support page - which BTW does not list this specific model number. Ran MemTest and got a ton of errors. I sent in a RMA, they responded: "It is unlikely that both modules go bad at the same time; and please also keep in mind that memtest stress the CPU, motherboard, and memory, it will treat it as a mem error if anyone of them fails. Thank you." If you don't like the Memtest results, then why did Corsair suggest it? I spent another month testing every other component before buying new RAM. Voila my system is back online. Thanks for nothing Corsair

Other Thoughts: Check your ram as soon as you get it. I wish I had ran MemTest as soon as I received the modules, then I would have dealt with Newegg, not Corsair.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The memory works, is good value for the money and it looks cool in a windowed case.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Be aware of the height of the heat sinks if you are short on space. I had no fit problems with my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe motherboard and Thermaltake Chaser MK-I case.
