1 out of 5 eggsStick failure after 6 months

Pros: Was great and speedy.

Cons: RAM stick shot after 6 months of use.

Other Thoughts: I've had these for about 6 months now. Worked great, nice and speedy, stayed about 20-30% on my computer at all times. Just what I wanted. I never did anything to push the RAM to its full extent, I just wanted a buffer and enough space to do digital art and run photoshop decently when needed.

However- Today while I was simply browsing the web, my computer crashed with a memory error. Restarted it- refused to and went into a loop of restarting and shutting down without breaching the boot screen. Turned it off by the power supply, went in and pulled out and put back in the RAM sticks. Thought maybe that they had just been rattled a little bit out of their place (how I don't know but it was worth a shot), computer started up just fine. Out of curiosity and wariness, I opened up task manager to keep an eye on things, where I found it hovering at 50%+. That was odd. I didn't have anything open. Checked the computer information, only 4 GB is registered. Both RAM sticks are fully in place, meaning one is shot.

Very, very disappointed that one RAM stick only lasted 6 months. These products have such a high reputation and I expected this to last me a long while, not half a year. Now I fear that the other one is just as close to giving out. Very disappointed.

2 out of 5 eggsReads incorrectly in CPU-Z and BIOS

Pros: I received the correct package and labeling that I ordered. I didn't have significant stability issues when supplementing to existing RAM.

Cons: I installed this to add to my existing RAM (PC3-12800 4GB x2 not Corsair) in dual channel. I set my BIOS to optimized defaults but when I ran a test in CPU-Z the new RAM read as PC3-10700H (667MHz) under max bandwidth. It recognizes the XMP and I manually set it to 1600 in the BIOS. It still reads in dual channel. I assumed it was a timing conflict so I removed my existing RAM but no affect to the reading under the SPD tab. I found some information of fourms but am still stumped.

Other Thoughts: I have a gigabyte Q87M-D2H board and Intel i5 4570 processor.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Great product.
Easy install.
Looks great!

Cons: None as of now

Other Thoughts: MOBO automatically set RAM to run at 1333, but easy BIOS setup changes it proper 1600

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, cool looking

Pros: Have had these for years, with no issues. Cool colors, and reasonably priced.

Cons: There are cheaper options out there but not by much.

Other Thoughts: Personal opinion.... I hate the tall cooling fins. Typical install not a problem but if you fill 4 slots on your mobo and have a big aftermarket CPU heatsink, good luck fitting these in that last RAM slot.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Stable and fast!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have owned one set of these memory sticks for a few years and they have performed wonderfully. I operate them consistantly at 1600. When I decided to double my capacity, I bought another pair. All 4 sticks are operating perfectly at the speed they were designed for. No problems - what else could you ask for with memory?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM! Hope they stay in stock!

Pros: Windows has been running smooth ever since I installed this ram. I came from 4gb and doubled it with these sticks and have never had an issue with them! No BSOD, no lockups. I plan on getting 8gb more so I hope they stay in stock until I can afford them lol.

Cons: I think this could be a windows issue but I have some memory leaks when I try to use photoshop for too long. Probably not a ram problem though.

Other Thoughts: Great product, great price!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great!

Pros: Worked perfectly from the beginning and has given me no trouble. They look really nice and I really like the design of the heat fins. I've used G.Skill ripjaws, ripjaws X and Sniper. All were great RAM, but I think I like the Corsair Vengeance the most.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsHardly Reliable

Pros: - Large Heat Sink (Stays Cool)
- Speed
- Possibility For Overclocking, though I do not recommend. (This will void your warranty.)
- Great Look!
-Works great with every operating system (Windows, Linux)

Cons: - Large, though there are low profile options.
- Didn't last longer than a year
- 22,000 Error (Tested With Memtest86)
- Not very reliable
- Slow and Tedious RMA process (Mostly a Corsair thing)

Other Thoughts: I receive the product on February 22, 2013. It worked flawlessly until July 15, 2014. The main problem was I started getting many random blue screens. After a week of troubleshooting I found the ram had over 22,000 errors in memtest86. I'm requesting an RMA as i type this hope everything turns out good.

5 out of 5 eggsNo problems

Pros: 1: Easy to install
2: Sturdy

Cons: The only con is that the height might be an issue if you have a tighter case than the one I installed these into. You'll need about 2 inches of space above the memory to give yourself enough room to install and have some air flow.
