5 out of 5 eggsCORSAIR Vengence *GB 2X4GB

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: Got a bad set of Red ones........

SO........

I got 12 more 2X4GB packs of Vengeance to see if I got 1 out of 1000... a bad set... EVERY OTHER SET I GOT WAS FINE AND COULD OVERCLOCK 1600 to 2133's... stable without voltage adjustments heh.

Got a few sets of GREEN BLACK AND BLUE... 12 TOTAL no issues.... I gave bad post when I shouldn't of, And just orderd some more wile I RMA This bad set.. WOULD BE 13 SETS TOTAL BUT ONE SET BAD HEHE

Cons: 1 set out of 13 sets of 2x4GB Vengence 1600 was DOA!

TESTED RED-BLUE-GREEN AND BLACK!! 1600Mhz Vengeance - 3 SETS EACH COLOR 24 modules TOTAL

11 of the Sets I OVERCLOCKED FROM 1600 to 2133 only got one to run at 2400 with voltage changes in bios... NO CONS!

PWNAGE!

5 out of 5 eggs4 Years, No Problems

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: I bought 2 sets 4 years ago. Had no problems installing. Had no problems setting up the bios to fit. Have had no problems with it crashing my system. Diagnostics still show the memory all works 100%.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I don't overclock anything or push anything harder than was designed. 4 years and still going strong!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent stable RAM

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: Bought 8 gig in 2011 for a gamer I was building. I played BF3, 4 The Witcher 2 and 3 and a host of many other games. The RAM performed so well over the last four years that I just bought 8 gig more. I need it now for GTA V which is quite a handful for any system

1.5 volts at 1600Hz is very dependable

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsYears of use

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: +Long Life
+Design
+Corsair reliability

Cons: -Wasn't picked for NASA's most recent satellite

Other Thoughts: With nearly 5 years of using this ram day to day from running servers, torture tests and more this incredible long lasting ram has failed to disappoint me in any way shape or form. Great for the price and i highly recommend it to any entry/ advanced level builder.

5 out of 5 eggsDependable

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: Very dependable
- Last two RAM brands I had died on me within 6 months and this one is going 2+ years strong

Timing and overclock is pretty easy

Cons: None really, not top of the line in terms of speed, but I knew that when I bought.

Other Thoughts: Going to buy another 8 GB, currently have 8 in my pc now

3 out of 5 eggsIt's RAM.

This review is from: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B

Pros: It's RAM. Computer recognized it immediately. Fast, I suppose. Timing was easy.

I bought Corsair nearly wherever I could on my build. The RAM was affordable, and it was blue, so why not?

Cons: I'm not sure if it was the chips or my MoBo, but I had to reseat this RAM several times to resolve various issues. Over the past year it's settled out and I've not had any issues with these chips since, but for a while right after I finished building this machine out, I was afraid to power it down because it wouldn't start back up unless I reseated the RAM.

Not just reseat it, but like, reseat it in that 'special' way. It was like messing with my old NES. >.>

Other Thoughts: I'd have preferred more than 8 gigs, but eh. I'm holding out for a DDR4 board before I do another round of updates.
