Designed with overclockers in mind, Corsair Vengeance DDR3 memory modules use carefully selected RAMs to enable excellent overclocking results on current and future generation Intel and AMD platforms. All initial Vengeance memory modules have a low 1.5V supply voltage for maximum compatibility and energy efficiency. Aluminum heat spreaders help dissipate heat effectively while providing an aggressive appearance for your gaming rig. As a bonus, the attractive low price of Vengeance memory will also leave lots of room in your system build budget. Now available in striking Cerulean Blue, Corsair Vengeance allows style-conscious system builders to maintain a consistent color scheme throughout their PC systems.

  • newegg Next-Generation Density for the Ultimate Power User Most Vengeance DIMMs are built with two gigabit RAM ICs. These extra-dense memory chips allow you to have 8GB of memory using only two DIMMs, or to populate your triple channel system with up to an insanely large 24GB of system memory for extreme multitasking performance.

5 out of 5 eggsworks well

Pros: works as advertised

Cons: None, it does what its advertised to do...

Other Thoughts: If you have trouble getting it to run at the proper speed , go into your motherboard bios, select memory options , and set to use XMP profile.

If that doest work, manually define memory timings, and clockspeed divider to attain the proper speed of 1600Mhz.

Just remember DDR stands for "Double Data Rate".
So if you see it showing as 800Mhz , it's actually running at 1600Mhz. (some boards will show the value doubled to properly list 1600Mhz, others don't, its not a flaw, just an engineering design .

5 out of 5 eggsSingle stick, not a set

Pros: Installed and it works. Tall cooling fins are in the center of the airflow of the Zalman CNPS9500AT cooler I used for this build, so it should run cool.

Cons: No cons, but since I have to put something here, this is single stick, not a matched pair. No issue, as long as you know that going in.

Other Thoughts: This SOHO build:
i5-3550P CPU, Zalman CNPS9500AT Cooler, ASRock H77M MB, Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600 CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9B MB, Seagate STBD2000101 HDD, XFX Radeon FX-775A-ZNP4 graphics, Samsung BD-reader/DVDRW, OCZ 600W PS, in a minitower case.

5 out of 5 eggsdoa

Pros: works just fine, but pc runs it as 1300 instead of 1600. i ordered 2 but of course one was doa. not even gonna bother trying to return it ill just buy another one.

Cons: like i said, one of the 2 was doa which is common for ram. not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: looks bad awesome with the heat shield and color.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful!

Pros: This is an excellent product for RAM! You see that blue thing that appears to be attached to the RAM itself? It adds roughly the length of another RAM stick, so it makes them MUCH easier to remove & add. The plastic & cardboard packaging it comes in is not easily bent either.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: I highly suggest this product if you dislike adding & removing RAM with that little piece to grab onto.

1 out of 5 eggsCorsair Vengeance 4GB

Pros: It works

Cons: I have it and another of the black 1600 MHZ sticks. The black registers properly but this one only registers as 1333 MHZ even though it says 1600 MHZ. This obviously causes my 1600 MHZ stick to also drop down to 1333 MHZ. I have talked to Newegg and they said I was sent the right one so I guess it's false advertisement or specs. I am not happy and as I have bought several systems and have used a lot of Corsair parts for them but after this I will not purchase another thing from Corsair and will purchase and spend my money at other companies and their products. though there is only a few dollars difference between 1333 and 1600 speeds it is the principle of it all. I paid for 1600 MHZ and expected to get what I paid for.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

Some motherboards that will default memory to 1333MHz, because it does not automatically load the X.M.P. profiles. Please go into your BIOS and enable X.M.P. profile, this should set your memory kit to the appropriate configuration. If you have further question, feel free to contact our Tech Support.

Thank you,
Corsair Customer Support

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad.

Pros: Cool color
doesn't get hot due to low Voltage
Tall enough that my Hyper212+ cools it off

Cons: doesn't overclock as well as i thought
wasnt $4.99 per module

Other Thoughts: I'm not sure if it was my setup but no matter what voltage i applied, it would not push past 1705Mhz.

5 out of 5 eggspretty sweet yo

Pros: very fast loading windows. 7.9 windows rating. 550/510mps read/write speeds are attainable with new firmware updates and a 1 button bios tweak

Cons: size. 120gb just isnt enough.

Other Thoughts: i have 3 other hard drives so i just use this one to boot windows
