5 out of 5 eggsI t works

Pros: It really felt like quality workmanship even whilst holding it in my hands, works at speed.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: I could overclock it, but I won't since I don' t have an APU there really wouldn't be much a point.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat for first 5 months, now it is nearly dead.

Pros: Ran perfectly with easy installation for first few months, good price.

Cons: System is giving me a ram failure blue screen and games are constantly crashing. Ram tests are also giving a hardware failure notification. Will be contacting for RMA.

5 out of 5 eggsInstall one at a time

Pros: It works and Crucial's website was a big help. I entered my mobo mfr. and model no. and it listed all Crucial options.

Cons: See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: I don't know why it is not common knowledge that when upgrading RAM (from 4gb to 16gb in my case) you have to remove the old ram (2-2gb sticks-which I did) and plug in the new RAM (2-8gb sticks) plug in one stick at a time or you get lights, fans and zero else. One stick a go, then install the other.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Corsair Memory
Reasonable Price
Heat Spreader/Low Profile
Looks good????

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I didn't run any of the MemTests that other reviewers discuss. All I know is I plug it in and it works, it is recognized and runs at the right speed with the right voltage and I have had zero problems. This single stick replaced two 4GB 1600 speed sticks of the same brand and line (XMS3). Never had a problem with the other sticks, I just put them into a different computer because my board only has two slots and I wanted to free one up for future upgrade but not lose any ram in the process. Glad I did it, saved me some money. I now regretably see there is a 16GB package on sale, check it out if you want 16GB of this ram (like I do!).

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM stick

Pros: -Booted up fine
-Low Wattage
-Very low profile
-Good speed

Ram started up fine from the first time onwards. Didn't need to adjust timing or anything to boot.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: This stick is extremely low profile. The pictures on Newegg dont really show how low they are. Great for massive heatsinks.

1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: Cheap, high capacity for a single stick.

Cons: Didn't work with my mobo msi 770 c45, the corsair website didn't list my motherboard so their "memory finder" was useless to me.

Other Thoughts: Didn't work for me, could have been the motherboard / memory combo, though I have 3 other sticks of the same latency and speed. I have an MSI 770 C45, on boot I get the CMOS checksum failed, tried to load the defaults even tried underclocking it and adjusting the timings but to no avail. Tried to boot into windows and got a black screen of death followed by some blue screens of death as well, tried ubuntu to similar results. When I removed the stick things went back to normal. So I'm assuming I just got a bad stick or that my motherboard doesn't like this particular model.

5 out of 5 eggsBought Four.

Pros: Inexpensive.
Works fine, Memtested all four of my sticks.
No issues installing or booting
Sleek, even with heat sink
Slid into place easily.
If you are worried about having a bad RAMstick it's easier to return just the bad one if you buy them individually.
I have 32GB of ram now.
7.5 out of 7.9 Windows experience Index score.

Cons: None, but for Windows 7 OS users:

Make sure if you buy more than 16GB and want to be able to use it all, that you update your OS to either professional or ultimate.

Other Thoughts: Seeing as buying packs of ram was so expensive for so-so quality ram, I looked around at the single sticks and found this to be my best bargain from new Egg or any other Ram retailer. I ordered and NewEgg got my package to the USPS in my town in just over a day. Considering I ordered the free 4 day shipping I was pleased.

Opening up the four boxes I received, I couldn't resist putting all four in at once and seeing if she would boot, as some computers have a hard time with. All of it worked and was recognized right away. testing it with Memtest's boot program they all passed with flying colors. I was so happy I wouldn't have to send any back, as I was worried. The plastic shell container even provided an easy and reusable storage for my old 2GB sticks of ram.

I am completely please
